For The Summer

Halloween time

I woke up and got ready. I dropped King off at the day care thing and went to class. The day went good, nobody tried to talk to me. That was good. I did not want to talk to anyone anyways.

It is October 30th and well King is 5 months and 3 days old now. Tomorrow is Halloween! None of us have costumes, but it is what ever.

I was jotting down ideas of costume ideas.

Tinker Bell and Peter Pan. Spider and a web. Beauty and the Beast. A vampire and a werewolf. Police officer and prisoner. Minnie and Mikey mouse. Nerd and the jock. Lilo and Stitch. Rapunzel and Pascal. Or Wonder woman and Super man, well Super baby.

I will figure it out. By the end of school I narrowed it down to Lilo and Stitch, or Minnie and Mickey mouse. I will just do a Twitter vote.

There were only a few Minnie and Mikey, so we went with Lilo and Stitch. I picked King up and put him in the car. Today I stayed later to get some school work finished.

I drove to the costume store called Party City. I walked in and looked around. King was grabbing stuff, while I was shopping for the costumes. A bunch of girls from the school came in. Probably about six or seven.

They all went to the slutty teens section while I walked to the baby side. I grabbed the Stitch costume then wondered to the clean teens area. I grabbed the Lilo costume and got Kayla a surprise costume then paid.

Then I walked out, put King in my car and put the costumes in as well. I went home and made dinner. Today I want to give him some table food.

I made chicken, sweet peas, and honeydew melon. Everyone came to the table. "Why is their an extra plate?" Kal asked. "For King" I said handing Kayla her food. I passes out all the food and sat down.

"Are you sure he is ready?" Kasin asked. I nodded. "We will start with small bites" I said. They nodded. I gave him a pea and he loved it. I gave him small bites of chicken as well. The melon I was scared, because it is slippery and easy to choke on.

I did it anyways and he loved it. We started to do bugger bites. Not to our bite size yet, but about a quarter of it.

It was big enough for him. We all finished eating and went to bed. I was brushing my teeth when my phone went off. I got a text from... Dad?! I opened it and it read:

Dad- I am so sorry, but your mom.. she... She is in prison...

I got up and sprinted into Kal's room. He was in his boxers only. I didn't even care. "Kal!"I said. "Yes?" He asked. I threw my phone towards him.

"What the hell?" He asked. We told everyone else including grandma. She had no clue either. She just hugged us all.

We all went to bed.

Wow, my life has fallen apart at the seems. First My mom and dad divorce, second Martinus and I broke up over something so stupid, that I didn't want to do, but I had to. Then Kaya died, and now this. What else could go wrong?!

My life is pathetic. I woke up and since it is Halloween we get the day off of school. I got dressed in my normal clothes and got King ready. I made my Halloween pumpkin pancakes.

The town looked so empty. There was leaves in everyone's yards, no kids were outside playing in them. I bet all the kids are inside on a phone, computer, tablet etc.

The boy's came downstairs. "Let's do something today" I said. "Like what?" Kal asked. "I wanna take King and Kayla to the pumpkin patch, get some pumpkins, carve them, play in the crunchy leaves and watch a full Halloween marathon until it gets dark then take him and Kayla trick or treating" I said.

"Sounds fun, but we were going to go to a party at 4" Kal said. "Okay, then do that" I said. "You sure?" Kaska asked. I nodded and handed them their pancakes. Kayla came down and we all ate. I gave King some too.

The boys went upstairs to do whatever. I turned to Kayla. "You ready for a fun Halloween?" I asked. She nodded. "Go dress in something warmer then" I said. She nodded and ran upstairs.

I grabbed King and followed. I re dressed him in something warmer.

I set him in his crib and went into my room. I got dressed in something warmer as well.

I went back and grabbed King then went downstairs. Seconds later Kayla came down. We got in the car and went to the pumpkin patch. We got pumpkins and went back home. We sat out side carving our pumpkins and playing in the leaves until a massive gust of wind made us all cold.

We went in and watched the classic Halloween movies. Hocus-pocus, Halloweentown, Halloweentown II Kalabar's revenge, return to Halloweentown, Halloweentown high, Twitches and Twitches II.

By the time we finished it was getting dark? The boys raced out the door before saying goodbye. I hope they don't do anything stupid or get themselves killed.

I handed Kayla her costume and she jumped in joy. "A nerd costume?!" She asked. I nodded. She hugged me tightly. "Thank you so much!!" She said. "Your welcome" I said.

She ran up and got dress. King and I followed. We went to our rooms and I got him dressed then me. We went trick or treating all night long. We came across Me. Gunnarsen, Mrs. Gunnarsen, and Emma. We came back and the boys still weren't home.

I'm not sure why, but I feel like they never should have gone. Oh well. I blew the feeling aside and us three went to bed, after dinner and tons of candy of course!
