Rue's POV
After eating dinner I went up to my room. I decided to watch a couple YouTube videos before listening to music and then going to bed. I,watched a minecraft hunger games, a vlog of SuperFruit's, and a music video. Then I listened to a playlist of Coldplay, Bruno Mars, One Republic, and owl city while texting.
Me: Hey!
Laura: Hey gurl!
Maggs: Hey!
Me: What's up with u guys?
L: Music, texting.
M: Same.
Me: Lol. Yep me, too.
L: Talking to the moon, trying to get to you. In hopes your on the other side talking to me, too, or am I a fool who sits alone talking to the moon.
M: Lol I'm listening to that song now.
Me: Me, too.
After texting till about 10 O' clock I go to bed.
* * *
I wake up at 6:30. I'm starving so I go downstairs to get some breakfast. I grab some coco puffs and poor them into a bowl, then poor a ton of milk on that. I sit down at the table and eat my breakfast. I'm the only one up so I have time to think about my life. Yay.
I'm lost in my thoughts about Jason when my mom comes up behind me and says, "Well someone's up early."
"Mom! You almost scared me to death!" I gasp trying to slow my heart rate and breathe.
"Sorry."
"Its ok." After I finish my breakfast I go upstairs to change. I put on some dark-wash jeans and a lose t-shirt from a soccer camp I went to. I go into the bathroom and put my hair into a high ponytail. Bye the time I'm completely ready it's 7:30. I have a half hour to chill.
I decide to just watch YouTube for a half hour. One episode should be prefect.
"Rue! Time to go!" I hear my mom shout up the stairs.
"'Kay coming." I run down the stairs, say goodbye to my parents, and rush out of the door with Jackson by my side.
We wait at the bus stop for 5 or so minutes.
Getting on the bus the bus drives says to me, "Good morning Miss Rue."
"Morning," I reply. I take my seat next to Laura. While Jackson goes and sits with his friends
"Hey," I say.
"Hey, girl." I just look at her.
"Just no."
"Sorry," she says.
"Whatever. Just forget it."
"Okay, well someone's grumpy."
"Yeah, I don't know why."
"Okay." It's silent for the rest of the bus ride except when we say hi when Maggs gets on with a small conversation with her about a dream Laura had.
