When he had smashed a Hollow, he saw it's eye but it ran already, Charles was consistently confusing that who's at behind of the Hollow mask. After they've saved Menchie and Angela, Rica advised them to call them when it occurs again. And they've going home with Charles then he's returning to his body and he sleep with confusing who is it.
Charles is currently sleeping when its morning, then his father wasn't there so, Stephanie wakes him and she brought him a tray of his favourite breakfast (currently he likes Sopas, tasty bread with chocolate spread, Fried Rice with skinless Longanisa and his favourite drink chocolate milk) and he responds while he sleep "Lay there somewhere. Thanks." Stephanie goes out and he wakes up with Rica by opening the cabin door where she sleep and he give his breakfast to her with talking about on what he saw behind the Hollow ask last night and it's familiar to him. Then they're going to school together with Jonar, Romemarc, and Menchie when she calling him "Charles!" and he tell her that he has some questions about her later and she joins her to their lunch, Romemarc loudly ask "Me too, can i join?" (the true thought: "To see all beautiful girls there.") Probably, he says "No!", Romemarc feels alone and unhappy when he heard it and Jonar tries to comfort him and advice to be on control or else, they're gone "turning off" to him. Charles apparently agree to join him to their lunch, his saying "No" to him, it was joking him.
In the Hollow world called Hueco Mundo, a Hollow that attacked Menchie is regenerating his Hollow mask and wounds healing. But a greater Hollow summoned him and asked in a loud and dreadful voice, "What you have done last time you attack? Are you failed? If you fail again on eating human souls, then you will die eventually or killed by the Shinigami troops." then he leave and a scouts of Hollows come to ask who's next to attack the humans living on the Baesa town.
Classes is ongoing, their teacher named Mariechu Ochi and she's teaching Filipino. While discussing, Romemarc asking to Charles on what's the difference of a sentence and phrase (in Filipino, pangugusap at parirala) but Mam Mariechu mentions him and giving a question in Filipino, "Asano, ano ang pinagkaiba ng pangungusap at parirala?" He's still clueless and cannot answer so, "Di ka makasagot, manatiling nakatayo. Pag nakaupo ka ng di ko sinasabi, ZERO. Iyan ang halimbawa ng hinding nag-aaral na bata." Everybody in the classroom CA are laughing including Charles, Rica and Menchie. Mam Mariechu tells to all that they need to answer on the board.

While their breaktime, Charles and everyone gone at school rooftop to eat together their lunch. Before he eats, he come to Menchie and ask about herself, "What's you brother's promises to you before he die? Why he was died? Are you feeling alone? I will help you" She cried when she answer that question "He promised to me to take me care and protect me whenever and wherever I go. My old brother died because of an accident when he saved me from weird beings since I was eight years old. I saw and gives me happiness to stand up again though, I remember my brother on what he cares me last time he live." Charles hlds her shoulder and say "Whatever happens, call us and we help you. We commemorate his death and will be not lost as waste" Angela, Christine, Rica and other friends comforts her and she smiles, then say "Whatever happens, I stand up and protect everyone."
