When Rica incantates the spell Hado 33: Soukatsui, "Kunrinsha yo! Chiniku no kamen, banshō, habataki, hito no na o kansu mono yo! Shinri to sessei, tsumi shirame yume no kabe ni wazuka ni tsume o tate yo! Hado no 33: Soukatsui!" meaning 'Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws.' but a Hollow remains invincible and said, "Is that a Shinigami spell? How dare you, but you can't take me down by that spell. Hahahahaha!" It said that don't block it at his way or else it tends to eat her. Cowardly backing off and slap her by it's huge hand then she wounded. Then, it leave already and searching for next victim, Jeric Shibata possess in parakeet.
Charles run to search Brian and Jeric in parakeet as Gillian requests to him then he take her to their home, and before she search them needed to find Rica first to release his soul into a Substitute Shinigami Mode. While he running, a Hollow gone cloaking and jumping then it go to abandoned factory, it smells Brian's afraid soul but he hid with Jeric then they run away before the Hollow search them. Finally Charles found Rica injured and requesting to release him from his body by her Gokon Tekkou or spirit-apprehension glove, then he turns to Substitute Shinigami Mode. They are following the Hollow's traces and Brian with Jeric seen running, Rica and Charles asked that he hasn't wounded by that Hollow and go to somewhere but a Hollow sees them.
By the Hollow's detection, they're separate to the multiple streets to run but it follows Brian and that parakeet then it captured and the bird cage is on the floor, then it captures also Rica running same at that street that they constricting by it's hand. Luckily Brian's strength force him to frees himself and he gives it a fist that Rica freed. That Hollow jumped high, then Rica told Brian, "Come here, Brian! Can you toss me higher than I expect by your full strength. Let's go back to geometry class, he's at the 108° northwest, aim me to it with 80% force or short, the 'Tiget Direction'. Isn't you do it?" Brian say that he can do and he tossed her higher, she target it by a Kidou spell but a Hollow spits her leeches and detonate it by it's sonic wave-making tongue and a group frog lets come to the bird cage that set it as it's hostage. A Hollow continues to unleases the leeches and she evades it but another counter-attack from Hollow's leeches explode to all and detonates. They're needs help, Rica yells to get help from Charles. "CHARLES!!! We need your help." Rica escapes from Hollow but Brian cannot move because of Hollow's leech that he moves, he and that bird exploded. Finally, Charles came by falling over the Hollow until he sitted at Hollow's head and asked, "How dare you to play-tagging them? Do you know what you're doing?"
A Hollow feels it carrying a burden but, it said "You scum! How dare you to ask me that? Is that what you've got? Huh??" Then a Hollow come to fight him, it releases the leeches but it evaded and only one attach to his body, it tending to detonate then Charles holds it's tongue and said, "Do you intend to explode the leeches including on my body? Why do you terrify that parakeet?" then he slice it's tongue and attemping to fight but it's hand cutted. He ask it finally, "Why did you attack Jeric Shibata?" it answer, "I'm the one of the member of 'akyat-bahay' syndicate that we ransacked their house, we stole so many moneys and their treasures. My assasination to his mother is my great reward but that child saw me, I'm going to catch him but he jumped at their terrace and died That is his' stupid death!." Then, he tending to fight him again but a gate of hell appears, opens fully and blow the Hollow to inside, "The gates of hell will be show for those souls who live and commited mortal sins. Though, he need to take inside by that gate." Rica says then last, the gate of hell closed and shatter.
Jeric explains his ties to Brian that he died because of those bandits attack them and they killed his mother so, he thank him. A soul from the parakeet showed, Rica and Charles performing a Soul Burial or Konsou lead him to Soul Society. Brian shed tears a less, but he wiped it then Charles and Rica watching the sunset.
