The next day after the last night of that live show of Don Renato, "Kurosaki, Inoue, Kuchiki, Asano, Kojima and Arisawa, we're see you all at the principal's office right now!" Their PE teacher Nelson shouts to them that he had watched the show last night live. Then, Rica says pretending to be pity, "Sir Nelson, we're just bumped by the other audiences there so, we gotta pushed. Don't say 'Our faults', because were happened to us and just a temporary moment of commotion and disturbances to us. That's all I explain." Then, Nelson face at the back of them and Charles planned to escape him by passing through window of principal's office, they're escaped quickly and Nelson faces at the front of their position "RICA!!! See you all at PE class, your behavior shall deduce gradually!"
While they're sneak walking, Rica's Soul Phone rings that has a Hollow around, "My phone is ringing." Then when she opened it, no orders received. "What happened to my phone, isn't the receiver malfunctions? I'd better check it to Danielle John." Isn't clear if someones defeating the Hollow or just her phone malfunctions.
Then, some group of students there standing and seeing the ranking top students for the last trimester, Charles, Menchie and Brian had take a look there. They see that Menchie Inoue is ranking at 3, second is Rica Kuchiki at rank 5, next is Angela Arisawa is ranking 4, then Brian Yasutora ranking at 2 -- among the known students, even in his enormous height, no one scares to him and everyone appraises him, also Charles Kurosaki at rank 10; Romemarc shocks on his rank, "W-W-Why are you there??! I know that you're..." Charles says, "Even I'm absent-minded and many things to do than to go school regularly, I'd always reading at my home because of my color of hair that I got in that place." Then Charles saw a high-ranked student listed there, it is Geeno Ishida, "Hey, who's Geeno Ishida?? Can somebody know about him?" Even everybody no one know about him. And Romemarc asks a request to go out tonight but everyone refuses especially Brian and Charles, even Jonar too.
Then, she go with Charles to Danielle John's shop and checking up her phone, "Good days, what can I do for you, Kuchiki-san?" and she said, "I want you to diagnose this phone's receiver that isn't malfunctioning or whatever, just check it what happens and do your best for my usage of it. Thanks a lot." Then she let it leave her phone to repair in a few time, then with Charles, has gone to empty street to check the Hollow-related incidents.
When they reached that place, at the empty street, there's a mysterious person's shadow approaches to them, and it was Geeno Ishida that Charles and Rica don't know about him and he asked, "Are you Geeno Ishida?!" and he answers, "Yes, I am Geeno Ishida. Didn't you know that I really hate Shinigami like you? Didn't you know that every spirits has a spirit threads, normal human souls has a white thread, then Shinigami souls have a red thread and I got it one from you." When a Hollow comes, he releases a Quincy Bow and he give off the Hollow a single shot until vanish. "Hey! Hollow souls are humans too, we as Shinigami have an obligation to purify them and send to Soul Society, but you kill it effortlessly!" Rica reacted and they've come back to their home and rest.
On next day, they're now in school and before the classes starts, Charles and Menchie watching Geeno secretly by his actions. "Hey Charles, let's go to Geeno and meet him, come on!" he dragged him but, they stop for a while, watching Geeno is helping student with a loss-thread stufftoy, "Hello mister Ishida, can you help he to fix my stufftoy? I'm counting on you. Do it well and thank you!" Then he started to stitching a stufftoy by preparing his needles and thread, he performs a nice stitch and quickly fixes her stufftoy, then she thanked Geeno for fixing her stufftoy. But he sensing Charles and Menchie watching him without eyes looking to them.
Then, going home with Rica and going upstairs but Geeno had surprise them, "Didn't you know that your vast Reiatsu leaking? Even you go somewhere, I follow you, learn how to keep your Reiatsu hidden for not being tracked." and Charles said, "What you suppose to mean? A weakling? A strong but unwise? Or what?!" and Geeno says "Didn't you know that you and Menchie are very noticeable even you're spying me what I do? Because of my sharp sense, other Shinigamis can sense a sharp but they're not knowing where or who it came. Meaning, it's just you, you expose yourself on danger." and lastly Charles said, "Wow, you mean I'm reckless? And you mean that you engaging to me a fight between us? What is your problem to me?" He said that his ancient Quincy ancestors had killed by other Shinigami especially his grandfather Roland Ishida, also his teacher that killed too. "Rica, run!" Charles uttered to Rica and Geeno says "You mean fight? Well yes. I want to challege you to finish all Hollows coming as far as you can. The more you kill means you're a winner." Their mysterious game started when a ring breaks by Geeno, Charles gone in Shinigami mode by getting Jello's pill inside of its stufftoy and swallow it.
Rica rans immediately to Danielle John, he gave her phone that repaired yesterday and asked something "What are the Quincy? Why those of them hate all Shinigami?" Danielle John answers "200 years ago, a battle between Hollows and Shinigami had started, but an another group joins to their fight, the Quincy, an anti-demon clan. Their techniques is in the form of rosaries bracelets as their weapons and casting an arrow. Why the Quincy are killed by the Shinigami? Because, Shinigamis are the 'balancers' and needed to balance the world. But the Quincy come, the balance of distribution of pluses are affected. So they're necessarily kill to maintain the balance." And Rica believes.
