14- New Truth

I get up and walk outside. Strangely, Keith and Noah are already dead asleep. So Shayne was on the lookout for me in the room.
I step outside and shut the door behind me. "What're you doing here? It's midnight?" I ask.
"Boze talked to me about your conversation." Mari said. "So that's why I'm here. I wanted to talk to Courtney with you. I think she is still around here somewhere."
"Mari, I can't right now. Look, I'm tired. I want to sleep on it. We can find her and talk to her in the morning, okay? Just find me."
"Fine. But you have to come to mine and Boze's room tomorrow. Not the other way around." Mari said walking off.
"Okay, good night!"

I walk back inside the room and see Shayne siting on the bed. "Who was that?" He asks.
"Oh uh, Mari. She had to talk to me about something." I say getting back into bed.
"What about?"
"Nothing, we can worry about it in the morning."
"Okay, good night."

The next day...

I slowly open my eyes. "What the heck!" I shout waking everybody else up.
"What!" Noah shouts frightened.
Shayne looks at me confused. I woke up and his arm was wrapped around me. But I pretended like it was nothing. I had to pretend like all this is nothing. "Oh hey, i gotta go to Boze and Mari's room." I say in a rush.
"Why?" Shayne asks.
"Because." I say walking out the door.
I walk down the hallway to their room. As I knock on the door, Boze answers immediately and pushes me inside. "Woah." I said quickly walking in.
"We stalked you a bit last night." Boze said.
"What? That's creepy?"
"On all of your social medias. I didn't know you--" Mari said as I interrupt.
"I know what you're gonna say."
"Well, then explain?"
"Yeah, you have all these guys after you. And you---" Boze says as I interrupt again.
"I have a boyfriend. I got caught up in the moment, okay? He is back in town from Europe. So he has been wanting to meet up again, but after filming, I have to go back to Ohio." I said.
"I saw one picture of him, he is pretty cute. Why would you date any of these guys here?" Mari asks sarcastically.
"Tell me about him?" Boze asks.
"When did you guys ever become so friendly with me? Well, at least Mari has this full time."
"And I haven't, excuse me? I'm talked to you and warned about what's going on. I talked to the guy because I wanted to help you."
"I know, but at first you seemed a bit bitchy."
"Bitchy? Really?"
"Bitchy Boze." Mari said giggling.
"But now, I really don't mind you. I know you enjoy smosh and everyone here. But you're trying to be a good friend and look out for everyone. So, I've started to have just a little bit more trust with you."
"Just a little bit." Boze said quoting me.
We all laugh. "Do you guys want to go downstairs and have breakfast?" Mari asks.
"Sure." I say getting up and heading out with both Boze and Mari.
As we go back down the hall and down the stairs, we run into Keith, Noah, and Shayne. It felt awkward since they didn't know I was hanging out with them. "Hey." I said.
"Hey." Noah replied walking slowly behind us:
We heard them whisper. "What's been up with Y/N today? She screamed this morning and now is hanging out with Boze and Mari." Noah said.
"Last night, Mari came by to talk to Y/N." Shayne said.
"Really? I didn't hear them?" Keith said.
"You guys were asleep." Shayne said.
"Do you hear them talking about us?" Mari whispered to me and Boze.
Boze and I nodded our head. We found the rest of the crew outside going to get breakfast as well. We walked into this small building that had a small buffet breakfast. I saw Courtney look over at me while she was vlogging. I waved at her, she waved back. Probably not wanting to, but still tried to act nice.
After we got our breakfast, Boze, Mari and I sit down at a table together. I see Courtney stop vlogging so I decided to walk up and talk to her. "Hey Courtney, can we talk outside?" I ask.
"Sure?" She says walking out with me.
"Sorry to sound rude but, what's your problem with me?" I ask.
"Can we talk a different time? I have to film in ten minutes."
"Real quick, please? I just want to know what's going on."
"I first, have no clue who you are. But what I've seen of you, I feel..." Courtney said starting to get embarrassed. "Kind of jealous of you..."
"Jealous? Of me? Are you kidding me?"
"Yeah, you seem so happy and cheerful. Not that I'm not, but you... I don't know. But also, you with Shayne..."
"Shayne? You like him?"
"Kind of. I have a small crush on him." Courtney said quietly.
"Well, you shouldn't feel that way. It's nothing, we're just friends."
"It doesn't seem that way."
I look inside the building and see Boze and Shayne looking at me. I know Shayne has a crush on me but I'm scared to say I'm taken. Plus I'm scared he will break Courtney's heart. "Try talking to him. Start off slow, and then move in closer, if he doesn't do the same, he doesn't like you that way and you have to get over him..."
Courtney checks her phone to see the time. "Thanks, let's talk again another time I gotta go film, bye!" Courtney said running off.
I sit back down with boze and Mari. "Hey Y/N, do you want to keep hanging out with us?" Mari asks.
"Yeah, of course!" I say excited.
"Well, sorry but, then you have to stop hanging the the squad." Boze said a bit disappointed.
"What?!"
"You have tell the end of summer games to choose. Choose wisely." Mari said.
