17- New Helpers

"What do you need to help me with?" I ask Courtney in her hotel room.
"You're helping me with Shayne, and I'm helping you out with your situation."
"My situation?"
"Trying to figure out who to join, what everybody's secrets is, everything. And I'm going to start off by telling you one of mine." Courtney said.
"Isn't your secret about your crush on Shayne?"
"Yes. But there is also something else."
"What?" I ask a little nervous.
"I'm apart of the group of people who kidnapped you. The kidnappers are working with a member of smosh and decided to join to pretend like I wanted to go against smosh. But I did it because I wanted to know what was going on."
"Do you know who the member is?" I ask.
"No, i don't. Nobody will tell me." Courtney said. "But, if you don't go to Ohio, I can take you to the secret base."
"Courtney, I can't. My mom--"
"Then I guess you won't see it." Courtney said interrupting me.
"Really?"
"Yes. Nobody will be there at that time."
"Fine. I'll check in with my sister." I said.
"Great. Welcome to the Smosh squad!"
"Wait, what?"
"You just picked who you wanted to join. I would've never told you that if I wasn't testing you. If you didn't chose to come with me, you would be with smosh games."
Then all of a sudden, a surprising Shayne and Boze walk into the room. "Y/N, we need to get out of here." Boze said. "You have to be with smosh games."
"No, we need to talk about something. You need to just follow me." Shayne said.
"Uh..."
"No, stay here." Courtney said.
"What is going on? Why are three people wanting to talk to me. I'm not that amazing." I said.
"You can talk to whoever afterward. But me first, please. I need to talk to you Y/N." Shayne said.
"Fine. But real quick." I said walking out with Shayne.
We stood a little away from the door outside. "I heard from an anonymous person that you have a boyfriend?"
"Yeah, its true."
"How come you never told me?"
"I didn't think you would care. Sorry..." I said not thinking anybody would listen.
"Y/N, I really like you. I want to date you but--" I say as I interrupt.
"But, I can't. Im sorry." I said. "I should go talk to Boze."
I walked away from Shayne, I knew he was upset. I didn't even let him finish his sentence. As I walk back into the room I then bring Boze outside with me. We went to the same spot that Shayne and I just were, but he was already gone. "You can't join the Smosh squad." Boze said.
"I know."
"You do?"
"Yes. Nobody barley even likes me now. Ian, Olivia, now Shayne, and probably Courtney again."
"Yeah, Courtney was listening to you and Shayne and is now kind of mad at you." Boze said.
"Once again. Everybody hates me. So I'm going to switch it up and help you guys out. But I can't go to Ohio." I said.
"Why not? You need to?"
"We need to follow Courtney. She is apart of the group that's doing this all. She is doing it to know what's really going on and she said she would be there alone tomorrow."
"We can go together. But we need to pack up our things and get out of here now. So good luck going into your room with them." Boze said walking off.
"It's not like I have to share a room with them again any time soon."

Sorry this chapter felt confusing. At least it did for me. It was kind of all over the place and I wrote it at a bunch of different times... but this next chapter will be very interesting so get ready, your character is going to have to make a very tough choice. So it may not be up for a little while, plus I'm going back to school super soon. I'll try my hardest!
