It's been six months since I first saw Jake, now he just pops up whenever he wants, mostly when I'm alone. I sit alone now in my new favorite coffee shop that sits in between many buildings.

"Hello darling, how are you?" Jake asks appearing in front of me. I glance at him and smirk.

"This world accepts you, you can teleport. What else can you do?" I ask, leaning back in the booth. He rolls his eyes and leans forward, elbows on the table, he needs to learn a lesson on manners.

"I can shoot lightning out of my hands, what about you?" Jake asks raising an eyebrow. I roll my eyes.

"Nothing so far, if I do receive powers though, you will probably be the last to know." I sigh shooting a light glare at him. He ignored the last part and looks outside. Sipping my coffee, I lean back and look at the guy. He really did change, he has a coldness that he didn't before. "I should go, Pops may need me soon." I say standing up. Instead of answering, Jake tackles me.

A car is thrown through the window and lands where we were only moments ago. Jake winces as glass showers over us while I turn into a ball. "Are you okay?" Jake whispers in my ear. Opening my eyes, I see his blue eyes hum with concern. I feel my cheeks warm for a moment but I dismiss it.

"I'm fine, what was that?" I say sitting up. Jake gets off me before helping me up. We get out through the undamaged door and come face to face with a man who looked like we was using magic, next to him is a man that looks more like a gorilla than a person, there's also another guy who's watching through a pair of sunglasses. The hell is going on?

The magic man turns to look at a woman as she tries to runs off the street with a kid. A car is lifted and he begins to throw it at the pair. I don't even process anything, I'm just running. I get in front of the pair and I take on the car head on. I punch it, that was so stupid! Somehow it stops and goes back at the trio.

What just happened. They turn to me before glasses gestures to me. Gorilla runs over. Oh shit. He punches me in the gut. "Little girl, don't mess with us!" He yells as he kicks me down. Ewww, he's barefoot. I feel the wind get knocked out of me as I fall over.

"Rosa!" I hear Jake yell from a distance. I ignore him, this Gorilla guy just punched me and then kicked me. How rude! I growl at the man and punch his nose, hearing a satisfying crunch under my fist. He stumbles back and looks shocked. The expression is wiped off as he attacks me again.

He punches me in the rib. He continues attacking me. I mange to brake his left arm though, and his nose. Gorilla roundhouse kicks me, sending me flying into a building. I groan in pain, so this is how death feels. I don't like it. I fall down to the ground. Felt like a belly flop.

I cough, blood goes flying everywhere. My blood, I'm coughing blood. I look up and see Gorilla, that's it, he's dead! I stand up slowly and glare at him with full strength. "I don't give two fucks about you, but I'll be damned if I died today without taking you with me!" I yell at him. He laughs and tries to punch me. I will not be beaten! I punch his neck, crushing his windpipe. He goes down. I kick his gut and kick him in the face, knocking him out. I look around. Magic man is still making chaos.

I wish he'd just go under like his buddy. Like if he got thrown into a building. At that thought, the magician goes flying into a building. I feel like I'm controlling this. Okay, if I am, he's going to do a back flip midair. I think as it happens. Well dang, I got telekinesis. I knock him out and put him on top of Gorilla, now for Sunglasses.

He's looking at me like he's very bored. Before I can do anything, Jake hits the guy with a wooden board, knocking him out. I almost laugh at the scene. Jake is at my side in a moment.

"That was a bit familiar wasn't it?" Jake teases. I roll my eyes and hit him softly. He mocks pain. "I've been hit! I'm going to die!" I roll my eyes and look around.

"Whatever dork, now, how are we going to fix this?" I ask gesturing to the destroyed buildings. He shrugs.

"We should leave." Jake suggests. Before I can protest, he grabs my hand and we leave the scene, him with a smirk and me with a glare at the teleporter.

"Jake!" I yell upset. He looks at me and kisses me on the lips before disappearing. Did that just happen? He. Just. Kissed. Me. On. The. Lips. And. Just. Left. What the heck?!?!
