Making my way home I stop at the cafe, finding Jake waiting for me. He hands me a scone and leads me out.

"We have to go now." Jake hisses in my ear. I frown at his abruptness.

"What's going down?" I ask looking around. There isn't any obvious panic so what's going on?

"Remember Cobra?" Jake asks. I nod, staffing down the scone. "Well, I found their hide out." Jake announces. I turn to him quickly. A slow smile creeps on my smile as I jump on him, wrapping my arms and legs around him.

"I love you!" I squeal, giving him a kiss on the lips. He lets me down with an unreadable expression before sighing.

"We leave at midnight. Tell Fury you're going to spend the night or something, we'll be gone for a while." Jake warns. I nod, gaining back my composure and straightening myself out.

"I'll be ready, with you having my back I should be just fine." I remind, playfully punching his arm. He nods and looks around.

"I need you to stay safe. And remember your promise." Jake says, still serious. Somethings wrong. He's never this serious. Unless he's scared.

"If Pops finds a way out I'll tell you, same for you." I say simply. Jake nods and kisses my cheek.

"I'll see you at midnight. Be ready." Jake reminds, turning away.

"Of course. See you then Jake." I call as he walks away. Rolling my eyes, I head home. When I get home I pull out a bag and start packing. I swiftly put in extra ammo and guns. A knock interrupts me as I finish packing. I throw the bag in my closet and open the door.

"Hey baby girl, I got burgers." Pops smiles holding up a bag of Wendy's. I give a smile and hug him.

"Hey Pops, may I spend the night at Angie's? We got a big project and we want to get started now." I lie. He examines my face before nodding. Pops could never tell when I spoke truth from lie. We eat, talking about how the vigilante Black Rose. He thinks I'm a guy, and he apparently doesn't like what I stand for. I, of course, go on defense. We finish and go to our respected rooms. I put on my uniform and leave the front open so they know I'm a chick. I take my bag with me to the park. Right as I step in, Jake appears and picks me up and teleports us.

We arrive in the forest. We divide the weapons between us and strap ammo on our holsters. Then Jake tells me the layout.

"If we make it to the middle we should find the director. Inside I can't teleport so we can't just zap in and out. We need to burn it down." Jake explains, looking around, watching every where. I nod and think. How should we play this?

"We need to destroy this joint." I say simply. He nods solemnly. "We need a bomb or a fire. Do they have any shut downs?" I ask thinking.

"If the director presses the big red button, it'll shut the whole place down." Jake mutters before sprawling, taking me with him. We stay there as the sound of a car goes by. We get back up and look to each other. "This is a one way ticket, if this gets messed up we may get killed. We can't just pop up in the office, that'll get us killed instantly."

I look into his eyes, he looks back into mine with no emotion. "When we get out of this and we go to my house, we'll need to have a talk." I say, brushing my hair back into a ponytail. He nods and takes my hand.
