Hyungwon nervously packed his stuff while Hoseok just sat on his bed and played around with his phone, stealing glances at Hyungwon every once in a while.
It didn't take Hyungwon that long to actually pack everything since there wasn't a lot that he wanted to take with him so when he was done he stood there awkwardly for a while, just looking at the boy on his bed.

"So... I'm done packing... is there anything you wanna do in particular..?" Hyungwon awkwardly asked, not really knowing how else he could break the silence.
Hoseok snorted when he thought of a couple (inappropriate) things he wanted to do with the tall brunette but tried to keep his composure as he got the nasty thoughts out of his head.
"Do you wanna go for a drive?" Hoseok finally managed to say and Hyungwon's eyes widened a little in surprise.
"You have a car?" Hyungwon asked, not even bothering to ask why Hoseok was struggling to contain his laughter just a second ago.
"Sorta yeah." Hoseok giggled a little.
"I have a car that isn't mine, but I drive it anyway. It's my dad's car but he knows I drive it." Hyungwon looked at the older sceptically.
"Are you sure that's okay?"
"Yeah it's totally fine! Let's go to the beach!" Hyungwon wasn't really convinced at first but the beach sounded like a great place to be right now, rather than his awkwardly tiny bedroom. He's much rather be at a wide open landscape than trapped in these four walls with the boy he had a huge crush on, afraid said boy might hear how loud his heart was beating.
"Well, sure... anything is better than here." Whispering that last part he quickly opened the door to his bedroom as Hoseok asked him what he just said.
"Nothing! Let's go then?" He nervously smiled as he held the door open.

When they walked out of the house, taking the cookies that Hyungwon's mom had made, Hoseok quickly ran to his house across the street to get the car.
When he was far enough away from Hyungwon, he couldn't keep the smile off his face. Hyungwon was literally the cutest boy he had ever met. The sketches in his notebook were absolutely beautiful and Hoseok was thinking about making his flirting a little more obvious from now on. He wasn't going to make a direct move yet because he knew Hyungwon was shy and he didn't want to scare him away but he knew that he would be able to at some point.
After all, it was clear that Hyungwon had feelings for him too, the way he acted so shy and awkward but how he opened up to Hoseok at the same time. There was no doubt in Hoseok's mind that things would work out for them.

Hoseok drove the car out of the garage without much effort and signalled Hyungwon to get in.
Hoseok had already turned on the radio to avoid any awkward silences and when Hyungwon got in the car, Hoseok could see that he was excited to go for a drive.

Most of their drive to the beach was silent but neither of them really minded, they just enjoyed the music playing and each other's company. Hyungwon was really happy to finally go to the beach again after so long and he was even happier because Hoseok was with him but he tried not to let it show too much. He enjoyed the view as he was looking out the window and he felt really at ease.
Hoseok drove the car silently and occasionally looked at the boy beside him, smiling lightly as he saw how cute he looked.

When they arrived at the beach, most of the people were gone or were packing to leave. It was slowly getting dark already and Hyungwon was happy that it was so calm out there. He didn't like being around crowded places so seeing how the beach was almost empty, it made him feel even more at ease. The weather was nice and today seemed like the perfect day to come to the beach and just hang out.
Hoseok watched Hyungwon as he happily got out of the car and almost ran towards the beach without looking back at Hoseok. It was just as if it was Hyungwon's first time seeing the ocean and it was really cute to Hoseok how excited the brunette was.
As Hyungwon ran to the beach, Hoseok went to get some snacks for the both of them.
When Hyungwon turned around to see if Hoseok was still behind him, he was confused to see that the boy was nowhere to be found and even when he looked around, he couldn't find the signature silver hair anywhere.
After a little while, he decided to walk back to the car but before he got there, he heard the familiar voice shout his name and he turned around with wide eyes and a smile on his face.

"Dude I thought you just left me here, where did you go?" Hyungwon yelled back as he walked towards Hoseok.
The other just laughed and held up the bag in his hand.
"I went to get us some snacks!" He said as Hyungwon took the bag from him to see what was in it.
"I thought I just got dumped somewhere and that you went back home without me." He chuckled nervously and Hoseok ruffled his hair a little. Hyungwon was taken aback at Hoseok's sudden actions but let it happen anyway.
"Don't worry Hyungwon-ah, I wouldn't just leave you here, how could I?" Hoseok smiled fondly and Hyungwon could feel his cheeks heating up a bit.

The two boys sat down in the sand and talked about this and that as they watched the sun set. Before they knew it, two hours had already passed and by now it was starting to get more ad more dark.
Hyungwon took out his phone and a shocked expression appeared on his face.
"What's wrong?" Hoseok asked when he saw the other's expression. He turned the phone towards Hoseok and face palmed while Hoseok tried his best not to burst out laughing

[10 missed calls from: dad] was shown on Hyungwon's phone screen.

"I think we need to leave... They're probably freaking out right now, I forgot to leave a note..." Hyungwon stood up in panic, he looked down at Hoseok with a pained expression in his eyes. He didn't want to leave, he wanted to stay with Hoseok, but his mom would kill him if he stayed out any longer.
Hoseok quickly got up and put his hands on Hyungwon's shoulders to calm him down, he saw that the tall boy was freaking out and he wanted to make him feel better.
"They're gonna kill me, hyung... What if they never let me go out again? What if they think you're a bad influence and never let me see you again?" Hyungwon brought his eyes up to meet Hoseok's. The older pulled him into a hug and pat his hair softly.
"Don't worry Hyungwon-ah, it's gonna be okay... Let's go home, I'll explain it to her."

Their drive home was completely silent, not even the music was playing this time and the atmosphere was a lot colder and more anxious than before. Hoseok glanced at the nervous boy next to him and saw how red his eyes were. He felt his heart was gonna burst at the sight of Hyungwon like this.
"It'll be okay..." Hoseok softly said and Hyungwon turned to look at him for the first time since they left the beach. His eyes were red and teary so he turned away quickly, he hoped Hoseok was right, he hoped his parents wouldn't forbid him seeing Hoseok again. He hoped they'd understand.

When they got home, Hyungwon got out of the car but stopped in front of the door. He didn't want to go inside, afraid of what his parents might say.
All that time Hoseok stood behind him, no matter what would happen, he'd be there for Hyungwon.

I have a lot of ideas for this fic but i just can't find a proper timing for them most of the time...
I'm trying to keep this updated but I've got 2 Verkwan fics still running too and it's difficult to keep them all updated
