Chapter two

In the castle...

Everything is going according to plan as the king had everything planned the food, music, catering, and the decorations. Yes everything is perfect as the king walked to the kitchens seeing what his friend/servent was making for dinner this time.

"Hello fancy pants was is this delectable dish you are making tonight?", said discord as he took in the smell. "Nothing special just tomato soup, roast turkey, and for dessert chocolate cake your favorite", exclaimed fancy pants. "Thank you fancy for making my favorite dessert", said discord with a smile, "No need for a thank you discord in fact I didn't make the cake it was cheese sandwich", exclaimed fancy pants.

"Speaking of cheese sandwich where is he anyway",asked discord. "I'm right here your highness", said cheese as he popped up behind discord. Once cheese said those words discord jumped up, then calmed down when he found out who was behind him." Cheese how many times do I have to tell you don't sneak up behind me like that ", discord said as he glared at cheese,"Sorry discord I didn't mean to scare you", exclaimed cheese as he rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment.

"Yeah I know you mean well cheese but please give me a warning next time okay", said discord as he faced cheese.  "Okay",exclaimed cheese as he showed a small smile, "Alright boys dinner's ready and cheese could you please tell flash, soarin, and spike that dinner's ready", said fancy pants as he put the finishing touches on the roast turkey. "Eye eye captain", said as he walked out the kitchen, "Well while he's doing that I'll go setup the table", exclaimed fancy pants as he and the other servants grabbed the food and plates and setup the table in the dining room.

After that was done discord went to the seat ahead of the table as he waited for the rest of his friends to come and eat dinner. Then the dining room door slowly opened revealing cheese, soarin, flash,spike, and fancy pants walking into the room with embarrassing looks on there faces." Sorry were late discord but me and flash were a little busy with our knightly duty and spike was too busy trying to find the perfect outfit to wear for the up coming ball", exclaimed soarin as he sat down on discord's left side of the table next to him. "It's alright besides I know all of you have work to do and with everyone preparing for the upcoming ball it's been stressful for all of us", said discord as he took a sip of his tomato soup, "Yeah and discord I have to ask why do you want a bride anyway", asked spike curiously as he stared at the king. "Why do I want a bride,well being alive for a thousand years without a companion is quite lonely even if I have you guys as company I still feel lonely cause every day and night I always see couples flying together I just want to know how it feels for someone to love me love me that's why I want a bride", discord said as he finished his confession on why he really wants a bride.

"Wow discord we didn't know you felt that way", said flash as he started to eat a piece of roast turkey. "Yeah I know you didn't know since I bottled up those feelings for so long I even went in denial when saying to myself that I was lonely and that I needed someone in my life to change all that like a woman's touch", exclaimed discord as he confessed his true feelings. "Well discord when the ball comes we'll be with you and help you with who should be your queen", said fancy pants as he took a bit of the turkey,"And to make this a clear declaration let's make a toast ",exclaimed cheese as he raised up his glass for the toast. After that they all raised up their glasses as they clicked their glass yelled 'I' as they drank their glasses and laughed through the night.
