Chapter eight

Flash began his story when he was seventeen and his parents were helping him find a job. And every job he saw were not hiring, until an ad in the paper came about hiring personal knights by the king's side. Even though flash wasn't too keen about being a knight but the more he thought about the more he liked the idea, so he went to the castle to see if he was fit for the job.

They gave him a few test to see how agile, athletic, and gifted he was. He even made a friend named soarin who also competing to be one of the king's personal knight. He and soarin both proved to be the best and got to both be the king's personal knights and being personal knights of the king they even got their own rooms in the castle. "And over time me and soarin made more friends even made friends with the king so that's the story of how I got my job here in the castle", flash finished.

"Wow that's an amazing story", twilight said as she stared at flash with a smile on her face. "Yeah I know and thanks but you gotta hear fancy's it's really interesting", flash said as he looked over at fancy pants who was too busy glancing at rarity to notice until flash nuged him in the shoulder to snap out of it. "Oh yes excuse me ladies would you like to here my story", fancy pants said with a sheepish smile on her face, "Of course we'd love to hear your story", rarity said as the others agreed with her.

"Okay well how I started here wasn't really much trouble really, because my family lived in the castle", said fancy pants as a flashback came on with fancy pants as a little boy living in his part of the room in the castle. "At that time my parents were the lead cooks of the castle, filling out orders from the king while also making time for me to teach me how to cook to take on their job as head cook so I didn't really need to find a job", fancy pants said as he had a small smile on his face. "And by the time I was eighteen they gave me the new role of lead cook and I will admit it was pretty hard managing all the other cooks but over time it was easy",fancy finished.

"I even became friends with the king while also making friends with a new guy named cheese sandwich who prepares all the delicious desserts and there all on the table right now too if you ladies would like to try be my guest", fancy said as all their mouths were watering to try all the cookies, cakes, and cupcakes at the dessert table. Trixie, sunset, cocoa, and starlight waited no longer and headed to the dessert table leaving twilight, flash, rarity, and fancy alone to spend more time together laughing, blushing, and sharing their crazy and silly stories.
