Since no one even tried to guess who was watching the main 5 I'll just let the story tell you for itself good luck.
Out side of the main five's window...
Unknowingly to the girls the were being watched by none other than chrysalis who laughed at their bloody tears of grief as she sucked out a bit of love they had for their lost friend. "That was delicious, but now I have to figure out what to do about their little friend when the time comes for the wedding", chrysalis said cheerfully with a wide toothy grin on her face as she walked into her black carriage with her two companions known as blueblood and trenderfang.
"Good work boys, your performance was perfect!", chrysalis said cheerfully with another toothy grin. "Thank you mother, we learned from the best", trenderfang said calmly with a smirk on his face as did his brother, "Yes, not only will we devour the love of the kingdom but soon the land will be OURS!", chrysalis said with triumph as she and her sons cackled with excitement as the carriage started to drive away....
Author's point of view in the story:

I had seen the whole affair from start to finish after I finished preparing fluttershy's things from the party before we go meet more of my family. I was shocked and horrified, I knew I had to tell the girls and warn them. And I think I know how but for now I must focus on being there for fluttershy, so I kept a straight face and took fluttershy to meet the rest of my family before the party...
