It's Gone on Long Enough!- Chapter 17

Rose's POV
"Alright! Good job everyone, I feel like we'll get a good grade on our test." Astoria said, seeming to be in high spirits

"You shouldn't get your hopes up too high, Astoria." Joy said, smiling. Astoria sighed "Yeah, you're right, you're right, but still! We're done with that so maybe we should celebrate, I yawned in response "I dunno, you guys can go ahead on your own, I'm a bit drained." I said Astoria seemed to be in thought for a moment and have a suspicious look to me and Hawk, why? I do not know...

"How about we celebrate tomorrow after school, instead?" Astoria suggested, I nodded "Sure" My team and I said in unison, and so I walked over to the portal gate to get to earth and when I was about to leave I heard an awfully familiar voice behind me

"Rose." I looked behind me... And it was Laurence Redhood
"Ehrm... Yeah?" I replied, giving him a curious look

"I was wondering, so you think we could maybe go on a date sometime?" He asked, my eyes widened

"Uhm..." I stood there a moment, unsure of how to respond, we've hardly talked since he started attending Regal Academy other that one time he caught me from falling from the sky... Which made things awkward between me and Hawk so... I

"I'll think about it, I'm a bit tired right now so I'll tell you later, okay?" I responded after a short while

"Alright, see you tomorrow." Laurence replied, waving, and so I went back to earth

Petal's Pov

I was about to head home to my dimension through the portal but I saw Laurence approach Rose so I quickly hid in the bushes and I strained my ears to hear... And of course, of course Laurence had to be asking her on a date... Honestly, he has a habit of messing up my ships-wait, did I say that? No... I thought that, i'm safe, I'm seriously going to have to have a conversation with Laurence

-The Next Day 4 mins Before Class-

Laurence Redhood's Pov

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!" I had started walking to class when I heard screaming and looked up seeing Rose and I quickly caught her bridal style

"It seems you've fallen for me" I said with a smirk, she didn't respond much and just seemed to freeze there

"Put. Her. Down. Now." I looked behind me and saw Petal practically staring daggers at me

"E-Erm..." I quickly put Rose down and Petal just have me a dirty look and walked Rose to class.

Petal Rabbit's Pov

"I'm really sorry about Laurence..." I said as Rose and I walked in the classroom...

"It's fine, you really saved me." Rose said, giving me a smile and she went to sit with her friends, and I saw Hawk walk in to sit next to Astoria aswell if I'm not mistaken, I think I saw him nearby when Laurence caught Rose both times...

Rose's POV

I went to sit in between Astoria and LingLing Hey

"Hey Rose!" LingLing greeted me, giving me a hug

"Hey~ so how are things with you and Travis?" I asked, causing her to blush and she looked over at Travis who came over to sit next to her and whispered to me

"We'll talk later" and in response I nodded and the art class started.

So after school LingLing and I had a 'girl talk' about Travis and I told her about the awkward situation with Hawk and Laurence and how is have absolutely no clue how to act around Hawk lately since well... I like him and he just saw some other guy holding me bridal style... Granted Hawk probably doesn't care, I myself, kinda do.

So after LingLing and I hung out Astoria approached us about hanging out again "Sure." Ling Long and I both agreed and the entire time I tried avoiding Hawk and I think everyone noticed... And since then I felt pretty awkward and I began avoiding everyone other than LingLing and pretty much everyone in the team's other than mine and Laurence's, and I knew\know very well that this method won't solve any problems but as of now, until I can come up with a way to approach Hawk and Laurence I will avoid them as much as possible, and yes, I talk to my team for classes and team assignments and such but other than that I'm trying to be distant.

1 month later

...

One month has passed and I still can't think of any way to approach Hawk or Laurence... Astoria keeps questioning me about it and I had actually told her about what had happened two weeks ago and she said she would give me some time to think but... Today as I was about to go through the portal I was surprised by well... a surprise...

Astoria's POV
"Rose Cinderella!" I shouted at her sternly as she was about to leave, and she just responded by freezing in place and looking over at mine and Petal's team slowly, I had been talking to Joy, LingLing, Petal, Quorin, Allen, and Travis about Rose's issue, and we decided it had gone on long enough, and so we're approaching her head on with both teams.

"Y-Yeah??" Rose stammered a bit

"This has gone on long enough! You've been avoiding us... No, you've been avoiding Hawk and Laurence, and as a result avoiding both teams! Honestly do you think you're going to be solving any problems like this?!" Rose stood there, dumbfounded, I know I had more or less betrayed her, but this had gone on long enough.

Hi, it's Vrea Muffin, please forgive me for getting a bit lazy with writing all the details with conversations and such, but this is my first Fanfic so I'm cutting myself some slack lol, and once again I posted this at 11:00 PM lol
