Shawn P.O.V.

She left me broken. I was still at the park silently crying to myself as I kept reading the caption over and over again.

This is what she must have felt when I stood her up for Julie. I stood up from the bench and left the park.

Once I got home I found Aaliyah laying down on the couch on her phone ang watching iCarly.

She turned around and noticed that I was there and jumped. "Oh my god Shawn, you can't just sn-," Aaliyah pauses and takes a closer look at my red puffy eyes and dried tear face. "Have you been crying?"

I nodded my head and took a seat on the couch. "May I ask why?"

"Y/N." I mumbled but loud enough for Aaliyah to hear.

"Ohhhh, you mean the pic of her and Matt, the viner, on Instagram?" I nodded slowly. "Yeah, I am happy she got a new best friend."

"Wait he is a viner?" She nods her head.

"Search him up." I go on the Vine app and search up Matthew Espinosa. He had over 5 million followers.

"Yeah, Y/N's new bestfriend is a famous viner like you. "

I stood up quickly. "No! I am still her best friend." I protested loudly.

"Shawn, don't be so stupid! You would't understand because your not a girl." Aaliyah says while standing up and going into the kitchen.

I sit back down on the couch and turn around so that I am facing the kitchen and Aaliyah.

"What do you mean?" I ask her while she grabs 2 cold water bottles from the fridge.

"I am just saying," she comes back and sets the water bottle in front of me. "What makes you think that you still have the place in her heart as a best friend when your love life got in between you two?"

"You have changed a lot Shawn, ever since you have been dating that bimbo Julie!" Aaliyah exclaims while taking a gulp of her water.

"No I haven't!" I defend myself.

"Your best friend left you because of your absence in her life. Do you want me to keep going?" She turns her attention to the T.V where Carly and Sam are in this pageant thingy. (I love that episode 😂)

Then I realize the change in Y/N's behavior after I started dating Julie. She looked more sad and pale these days than other days when she was all bubbly and jumpy.

"God why am I such an ass?" I bury my head into my hands.

"For once I am going to have to agree with you on that." Aaliyah says.

I chuckle. "Why did you even start dating Julie?" She asks.

"Do you want the truth?" She nods. "I am just trying to get over Y/N." I say quietly.

"Why?" Aaliyah asks.

"Because I have feelings for her." I mutter under my breath.

"What?"

"I have feelings for her?" I say a little bit louder.

"What?" Aaliyah scoots in closer.

"I HAVE FEELINGS FOR MY BEST FRIEND!" I yell. I look at Aaliyah and she shows no emotion on her face.

"This is bad....." She whispers loud enough for me to hear.

"Why?" I ask worriedly.

"Shawn, Y/N likes you too." She spoke gazing at the ground.
