Chapter 1 part 2

Colton was able to Hotwire a Toyota, it had half a tank of gas. we're going to have to stop at a gas station on our way back.

It was about 2hours into the rid and Colton was driving, Samuel in the passenger seat and Jack and I was in the back. I ended up falling asleep with my head lining up against the window.

"You should had thoughts out the whole group Colton, now you put us all in danger!!" Samuel yelling woke me up from my dreamless dream. "What's going on?" I asked with a yarn. "Yes Colton what is going on? why don't up tell Jane what you done" Samuel said with sarcasm. "I don't have to explain myself to you and I did this for my brother, his getting worst by the minute. he's not going to make it to the morning without medicine" Colton says the last park in a whisper so Jack doesn't hear him. I sat in my seat straighter to get a good look at Jack. He does look a lil to pale. I touch his forehead and he's getting a lil hot.

"How far are we from the drug store?" I asked

"About 30mins or so" Colton answered running his right hand threw his hair, keeping his left hand on the stirring wheel. I turn my head left to look out if the window at the sun. "We must hurry then because we only have an hour if not less until dark. "Killing zombies is easy but night crawlers are much harder do to the fact that they don't hunt alone...

"Ok guys i'll go in, you make sure no zombies follow me ok" I said while loading my gun with a past thing of bullets. They nod they they're head in agreement. I took a deep breath, opening the car door. I took one last look at Samuel before before walking into the drug store.

The place was trashed, there was broken needles, empty pill bottles, pills was scatters all over the floor and mostly all of the counters was empty. I started to run up and down each isle, looking for the medicine we need. On my 3rd isle I heard gun shots. "Jane hurry up! big group of zombies coming our way!!" Colton yells. Speeding to the 4th isle, I finally found what I was looking for.

I quickly grab it, dashing out of the the store door. making it bang against the brick wall loudly, which took the zombies attention from the car and on me. "Shit" I mutter taking out my gun and started shooting them one by one in the head. But their where to many and I had no way of getting to the car because it was surrounded by zombies.

"RUN! JANE RUN!!" Samuel yells at me from the passenger seat. Colton was holding him back from getting out of the car. I wasted no time in running my ass away from them.

Not long my breath come out short and in huffs. If you haven't notice I'm out of shape in the running department.

I didn't even get a hundred feet before I was tackle to the ground by a zombie, knocking the breath out of me. I fought to keep the zombie mouth away from me, but it was to strong and I was too tired.

I turned my head to see more of them coming, I turned my head the other way towards the car to see Samuel on the verge of tears. I close my eyes getting ready to give up, when.....
