Chapter 3 part 2

Jane POV

"Are you sure?" Samuel asked the girl with the red hair.

She turned and glare at Samuel sharply. If looks can kill he would be six foot under by now. "Go" the girl hissed at us.

Colton wasted no time getting the car moving at 60mph. "Jane, did you get Jack medicine?" Colton ask, looking at me from the review mirror. "Yah it's right..." I started to feel my jacket pockets for it but they where empty.

"Shit, I must had dropped it, when I was running away from the zombies" I said in a panic. "Damn it!!" Colton yelled, slamming his hand down on the steering wheel. Making me jump in my seat. My eyes started to water because I was a failure. I failed to gets Jacks medicine, and we all knew he wouldn't make it for much longer with his leg infection.

He became so pale and weak that all he does is sleep. "We all need to calm down, so we can think clearly" Samuel tried to reason with us. I let out a Shaky sign, forcing my self not to cry.

"Ok now that we're all calm, Colton can you speed up the car" Samuel said calmly. "Why?" Colton and I asked at the same time.

"Nothing big, it's just that night crawlers have been following us for the last 5mins" he said with sarcasm. Colton pushed his foot down more on to the gas petal speeding up the car.

We where going 80mph, but it still looked like the night crawlers was getting closure then farther. I turned my head from the car back window to my window on my right and I froze with fear.

A night crawler was running right beside my window looking at me straight in the eyes. I quickly turned around to grab Jack and pull him away from the car door and window.

More night crawlers started to join the chase. They hit the sides of the car with they're bodies, trying to knock it over. I let out a small scream of shock, when the top of the car roof dented in from the weight of the night crawler.

We had nothing to defend ourselves with, we're all out of bullets....

BANG!!...BANG!!...BANG!!

I saw three crawlers fall died with a single hole in they're heads. "What the..." I said to myself.

I seen a flash of red from the back car window. It was moving to fast for me to see clearly. I seen the flash of red again but this time it was from the right side of the car.

I quickly looked out my window.

The red head that head saved me from before was running right beside the car, that was going more then 80mph. she didn't even look tire.

She was looking up at the night crawler that was on top of the car.

With a graceful Leap, she was on top of the car. The wolf that was with her before was following the car closely behind while taking down night crawlers as it go.

"I don't think she's human" I mumble.

"No duh, what gave it away, her taken down 50 zombies, her having two over sized wolves as pets or was it her running as fast as a damn car" Colton said with sarcasm. I was about to say a smart come back when a night crawler was thrown off of the roof of the car and ran over. The night crawler screams. I can hear the redhead on top of the car laughing.

"Shit" Colton says as the car starts to slow down before it came to a complete stop.

I take a look around before getting out of the car, along with Samuel and Colton.

"Why you stop the car?" the redhead asked rising one of her perfect eyebrows.

"We ran out of gas" Colton said

"Ow..Y'all just have a lot of bad luck" she said jumping off the top of the top of the car gracefully. "Well.." she paused looking at each of us then continue. "Bye!"she said walking away, followed by her wolves. That went to each side of her.

"No wait, your just going to leave us, it's still dark and night crawlers could be anywhere" I said in a panic. Without her with us out here, we stand no chance of surviving out here along with no weapons.

I heard her huff loudly, then she turned around dramatically. "Don't you humans have a survival group to get back too?" she asked putting her hands on her hips, cocking it to the side.

What does she mean you human. she says it like she's not one herself.

"Human? aren't you a human too?" I questioned.

She gave me an unfriendly smile "You can say that" she shrugged.
