Chapter 4 part 1

Jane POV

She gave me an unfriendly smile "You can say that" she shrugged.

The redhead looked down at the pure white wolf with the blue eyes. She was staring at the wolf as if they where communicating.

The redhead bent down so that he and the wolf was at eye level."Why must you have such a big and warm heart, shouldn't it had turn to stone by now after living with Leo and I for so long" She said to the wolf as if it was a person and I was shock to see that the wolf had really had understand what she was saying, from the way it narrowed its eyes for what the redhead said, then the wolf nip at the girl finger softly. As if it was trying to motivate her to do something.

The redhead frown at the wolf, it was not a sad frown but a irritated frown. When she looked up at us, she looked even more irritated.

"Ok here's the deal I'll take you all to a safe place then I'm leaving" She said leaving with no room for argument. "Will let's go we have along travel ahead of us" She said clapping my hands together.

"Hold on wait, my lil brother in the car" Colton said while rushing to the car we where in. The redhead whispers something to the wolves. Making the one with the blue eyes growl and the one with the green eyes started to watch us carefully. "What's wrong with it?" the girl asked us as Colton was holding Jack sleeping body in his arms.

"He's not an it, he's a boy and my brother" Colton snapped at her. which cause the wolves to go on defense. The bigger one with the greens eyes snared at Colton with its ears flat on its head followed by the smaller blue eye one.

"Yah whatever you say, but what's wrong with 'him' " she says putting the emphasis on him and narrowing her eyes. As if we say the wrong answer she'll attack.

Samuel explain to her what had happened to Jack.

"Ok you humans are already slow and with you having to carrying the extra weight, would only make you slower and ain't nobody gone time for that. So which one of you two are going to carry the boy?" the redhead asked the wolves.

The smaller blue eyed one step forward while the bigger green eyed one turned his head away from everyone. "Leo you the man of this group show some respect to us ladies" The redhead said to the wolf named Leo, hitting him on the back of he head, not hard but not soft either..

But he still made no move to get up.

The wolf with the blue eyes let out a human like huff, then getting up pushing the redhead and Leo out of her way roughly. "HAY!!" the redhead yelled and Leo growled.

Colton was cautions when the wolf walked up to him. It reached his mid stomach which is huge since Colton is tall.

"Just lay the kid on Luna's back. Try as much as possible to not touch her. It's for you own safely" the redhead said..

Alexandra POV

"Just lay the kid on Luna's back. Try as much as possible to not touch her. It's for you own safely" I said looking down at Leo, who was sitting down next to me, his fur on the back of his neck was standing up, his eyes was narrowed at the boy with the blue eyes as he was putting the kid only Luna's back.

Leo doesn't like anyone touching Luna but me and that's only because I knew them since they where pups. And if you where wondering, they are not relating.

Leo craws where dragging into the ground. He was trying to hold himself back from attacking the boy.

"Luna come" I calmly demanded. She looked at me confused, of why I was being demanding. Then she looked at Leo and soon was understanding why. She walks towards Leo with the child secured on her back. She bits Leo on the ear softy. Silently telling him not to worry. He did nothing but glare at the child that was laid peacefully on Luna's back.

Luna huffed, looking up at me and rolled her eyes when she seen I was glaring at the child too. "Really mature Alexandra and Leo" Luna mind link us.

"I don't like the kid touching you" I mutter back in the mind link. Leo nods his head in agreement. "The pup is sick, what's the worst he can do?" she argues. "Slow you down and get you killed" I reply. Leo Immediately stands up, ears flat on the back of his head. "Give it back to them now, it's they're responsibility not ours" Leo growls.

"No, we have a better chance to make it out of here alive, if I carry the child then they do" Luna growls back.

"We should get going now, before more night crawlers and zombies catches onto our scent" the blue eye boy said and I nodded in agreement.

I begin to walk with Luna in the middle of Leo and I. Making sure nothing can get to her.

We walked at our normal pace, when I heard the humans starting to breath heavily from behind me. I look over my right shoulder to see them jogging to try and kept up with my walking pace.

Key word 'trying'
