THIRTY DAYS BEFORE THE ACCIDENT

WEDNESDAY 7:00 am

YOONGI FOR THE FIRST TIME FELT EXCITED TO GO TO SCHOOL.

He felt something other than that dark numb feeling that he had felt for his entire life. It felt good.

Yoongi smiled as he quickly grabbed his things and left the apartment, kissing his mother on the cheek goodbye and jogging to catch the bus.

After he and Miaa had finally lost the man, they both split and went their separate ways. Yoongi had offered Miaa a guide home but she shrugged it off and left with a smile and a laugh.

By the time Yoongi got home it was around 2:30 am which only left him with so many hours of sleep. It still amazed him how on ordinary days he would get more than enough sleep and never could he ever feel as elated and rested as he did now.

Yoongi was too caught up in his thoughts that had the woman in front of him not moved to get off of the bus then he wouldn't have realised that he needed to get off or he would miss his stop.

He quickly made his way to the front, shuffling his bag filled with half assed homework onto his shoulder and off of the bus. Yoongi wasted no time getting into the school and making his way into the library.

He needed to do the rest of his homework for the little amount of time that he had left. He could care less what the people that attended this school thought of him, but the teachers were a whole other thing.

Yoongi ran a hand through his hair frustratedly as he thought of the essay he never finished writing and quickly grabbed a few spare pieces of paper and a pencil and got to work.

The quiet library was somewhat comforting for Yoongi. It helped him focus, but today was no ordinary day and in no way was it like the day before where he was slightly whispered about behind the hands of giggling girls.

Instead, Yoongi found himself cursing every single girl that seemed to miraculously appear out of no where. One minute he was writing in peace and the next was surrounded by a plethora of girls who seemed to have appeared out of no where and brought along with them an outstanding amount of noise.

It infuriated him to no end. He grunted lightly and a string of sighs followed. Yoongi stopped writing and shot an angered glance at the closest girl hoping she would give him his personal space back, but apparently she didn't understand his 'get the fųck away from me' look.

She moved closer and giggled as she crossed her arms across her chest, making her cleavage nearly burst from the tight top she was wearing.

Yoongi flinched away and gathered his things, leaving as fast as his feet could take him. If this was what he was missing out on where American high schools were concerned then he felt like he would rather miss out.

Yoongi wasn't really paying attention whenever he made his grand escape so whenever he bumped into someone and sent their books flying to the floor, he could do nothing but curse lightly and bend down to help pick up their books.

Once the floor had cleared, the girl finally turned to face him and Yoongi was stunned by the shear beauty of her.

She had long straight black hair that fell to her waist. Her petite frame was clothed in a pair of skinny jeans and a white shirt with a black leather jacket wrapped tightly around her waist. Her eyes were slanted downward and her cheekbones were angular and sharp. Her cheeks were the dark shade of red hinting at her embarrassment and her brown eyes framed by thick black lashes were wide and seemed just as shell shocked as him.
