Lydia's POV
We arrive back at the house and Natalie opens the front door. "Good evening. Your father arrived this afternoon and is in his study." She says to us which translates to 'don't bother him'. The 3 of us walk upstairs to my room. Marinette helps take off the bandage and gasps at the site of my burned hand. "It looks better then before, trust me." I say and Adrien goes into the bathroom to get the first aid kit. "Does it hurt?" She asks. "No, not really. Not at all actually. But it kind of... tingles?" I say and Marinette gives me a confused look. "Tinkles?" She repeats and it slowly starts to heal. "Adrien?" I say and he walks up beside Marinette and looks at my hand to see that it's healing quickly. "What? How?" Adrien asks himself and Duusu looks at it. "Oh my gosh. The prophecy is coming true!" She squeaks and we all look at her. I remember seeing something in the book about a prophecy so I go and get it. "What's this book?" Marinette asks as we all sit on the floor with the book in front of us. "The book of Miraculous. It tells stories of past miraculous holders, kwamis, stories, and a prophecy." I say as I flip pages until I find the right one. "What does it say?" Adrien asks since it's written in Latin. "It's says that one day 3 great and powerful holders will receive gifts unlike any other before to defeat a great evil that's been lurking in the shadows for centuries. These holders will either cause the downfall of this evil or the downfall of the world." I finish reading the prophecy and I look up at Adrien and Marinette with a shock look on their face. "Are you sure that's what it says." He asks me. "Positive." I reply. "That doesn't mean it's us right?..." Marinette says. "That prophecy was written down hundreds of years ago, and we can feel it, a darkness is coming." Tikki says and Duusu nods. "Well, good luck guys." Plagg says and hides in Adrien's pockets. "Well, if the prophecy is coming true then we should study the book to see what these gifts are and how to use them, in the mean time we should also train." Adrien says and I nod in agreement. "We should also train without using the miraculous, just in case. Marinette adds in. "Good point. We should go see Master Fu." I say and close the book.
-later that evening-
"Hello children, come in." Master Fu says as he opens the door and we walk in to see what looks like a normal yoga studio. "I'm guessing you read the prophecy." He says and I nod. "Who exactly are you?" Marinette asks. "I am Master Fu, kwami holder and protector." He says and a green kwami flies up from behind him. "You must be Wayzz." I say. "I see you've read the book." He says and he gestures for us to sit down on some pillows in front of a small table. "We are here to ask her if you can train us for this darkness." I say quickly. "Of course I will train you. But I will not only be training you physically but mentally as well. I must warn you, it will be tough." He says calmly. "What do you mean by mentally?" Marinette asks. "Our strength lies in our emotions. If we can control that, we can control our powers. And the darkness is a void; everything that is sad, angry, negative in the world. And we need to be the light that destroys it." I say without breaking eye contact with Fu. "Exactly Lydia. The darkness feeds on happiness and leaves nothing but misery. You need to have enough happiness to overwhelm it." Master Fu says.
A week has gone by and we've been training harder than ever. Channeling our emotions, testing our strength, and making our weaknesses our strength, and making our strength our greatest weapon. But none of use have discovered our special gifts yet. Under the yoga studio is a professional groaning center with all the gear that we've been using to train; weights, obstacle courses, climbing ropes, tread mills, and much more. We haven't trained with our miraculous yet because it's suppose to make us stronger, but honestly... it's making things difficult. We can't get pass an obstacle course or lift as much weight as we would with our miraculous. Adrien's and Marinette have been training all day while I've been studying the book, looking for something I might've missed. I flip through the pages that I've read hundreds of times when I noticed that one particular page was thicker then the rest. I try to peel the page apart to find that there were 2 pages stuck together. It's a second part to the prophecy. I start to read it which says what gifts the 3 holders will have. "I think I found something!" I tell and Adrien and Marinette stop boxing and run over to me. "Look, it says what gift we will have. One will have the power over healing, one will have the power to destroy without touching the object, one will have the power to create anything just be thinking about it. But beware that if these gifts are over used, used on each other, or for personal gain there will be consequences." I finish reading and they look at me. "You already showed your gift when you healed your hands." Adrien says. "But I don't know how I did that. I guess I was desperate and upset that i thought that I wouldn't be able to do what I love; drawing and writing." I say and Master fu walks in through the door. "You discovered your trigger." He says. "What?" I say confused. "In order to use your gifts, you must find a trigger to turn it on, like an emotion; love." He says. "I have to touch something to destroy it, now I don't have to? How?" Adrien asks. "Maybe you just think it or it shoots out of your hand." Marinette says. "We need to learn how to use them and fast." I say and look over at the Kwamis who are huddled in a basket with a blanket. This darkness is taking a big toll on them. We need to learn to fight without them, or I'm afraid that they will die.
So sorry for the late chapter, and for making it confusing. I'm not sure where this story is going anymore...
