Doctor Andrews's POV

I'm exhausted we lost two patients but the other one made it out okay. One's gonna make a full recovery.  Now I have to tell the family the bad news. I walked down the hallway leading to the waiting room where the entire family was waiting for me.

"Uh... Are you Brenda and Charles family?"  I asked.

"Yes." said Brenda's mother.

"Ok. I have some great news and bad news. First let me give you the good news. Charles's surgery was a success. Charles was shot in a leg. He'll make a full recovery. As for Brenda, I'm afraid she didn't make it" I said.

"Nooo!" screamed Angela.

"I'm sorry." I said.

"Aw shit! What am I supposed to tell Charlie?" asked Sam.

" Also, Charlene will be released to Miss Angela Styles in few hours. We examined her to make sure there were no broken bones. So far there aren't any. Just a few scratches on her arms and bruises on her legs. You may go see her now if you like." I said.

"Can we see Brenda and Charles?" asked Sam.

"Yes you may. Oh I almost forget to tell you. Charles was beaten pretty badly. His left eye is swollen shut and he has bruising and fracture in his ribs. When you see him, you might not recognize him." I said.

Sam's POV

I walked into Charles room and saw him sleeping peacefully. His ribcage was wrapped tight with bandages. His leg was in a sling wrapped in bandages too. His left eye was swollen and I watched him breathe in and out. I hated see my best friend laid up like that in the hospital bed. I broke down and cried. I felt partially responsible for all this mess. I wished I never met Morgan and I wished I never introduced Morgan to Charles. Who knew what kind of person she was? She was a evil monster. I heard a knock on the door and I opened it. It was Wiz and I let him in.

"So you heard about Brenda, huh?" I asked.

"Yeah. I heard.  As for Aisha, she's been booked in a women's county jail in San Francisco, California. There's something I forget to mention about Morgan. I did some more research on her. She used to be in a mental institution ten years ago. The story on that was she was in the same situation like now. There was a guy named Sean and Morgan was friends with Sean's friend, Desmond. Desmond is gay. He knew that Morgan had a crush on Sean but Sean was seeing someone else. Morgan and Sean used to date but it didn't work out. They remained friends as Sean thought. When Morgan found out that Sean was getting married and he was gonna be a daddy she was not happy at all. She began stalking them and threatening them. It got to the point she tried to kill Sean's wife. She survived but the baby didn't. She divorced Sean and Morgan went to jail. Somehow she escaped and went after Sean. She began stalking him and harassing him. One night she showed up to his house and snuck in on him. Sean was seeing someone else. She shot Sean multiple times and the girl that Sean was seeing ran next door to call 9-1-1." said Wiz.

"Damnnn! What happened to Sean?" I asked.

"He died two days later from his wounds. Morgan was the jealous type. She had that If I can't have you then no one else will-type of attitude. Charlie is one of the lucky ones ." said Wiz.

"This is all my fault." I said.

"It's not your fault. You had no idea Morgan was like that. She played us all and tried to kill us. We are lucky we still here." said Wiz.

"Yeah, you right. I remember when she shot me. I wanted to fuck her up for that. How am I going to explain all  of this to Charlie?" I said.

(Groans and Moans)

"Charlie? Charlie? Are you awake?" I asked.

"C.C? W-where's C.C.?" said Charles.

"She's with Angela. Just get some rest. Ok." I said.

"B-Brenda? Where's Brenda?" asked Charlie.

"She's..... (voice cracks) She's dead." I said.

"No! No! You're lying!" screamed Charlie.

"I'm so sorry, Charlie."  I said.

"No! Noooooooo! No! Not my Brenda!"  cried Charlie.

Charlie tried to get out of the bed but Wiz held him down. I called for the nurse and the nurse called the doctors to hold Charlie down. He was screaming, crying, and kicking. They had to strap him down and give him some medicine to calm him down. Finally he gave up and went to sleep. I cried and Wiz held me as we walked to Brenda's room.  She laid there lifeless and Angela and her mom were crying. Her mom was screaming, "Not my daughter! Not my baby!" It was a sad scene. Two hours later, C.C. went home with Angela. I stayed with Charlie for a few hours and talked to Wiz. Then I called Diane and told her I was on my way home. It's a been a long day. I headed home to be with my family and the first thing I did was hug my wife and kids.
