Chapter Three

Bailey's P.O.V

I looked in the door frame and saw Magnus standing there, "What are you doing here?" He smiled and shook his head causing sparkles to cover the floor. "Sorry where are my manners, come in." I held the door open and he walked in and looked around, "What are you hiding?" I stared up at him, my hoop earnings dangling. "No, I'm not Maggie. Oh! How is little Lightwood?" Maggie's head shot up, "Yeah, he's doing better, but he's down no one has found his brother yet." I nodded and looked to the couch, "Care to sit?" Maggie nodded and went over to the couch to sit. I looked up and smiled, "Maggie why are you really here?" Maggie looked up, " Recently I've been trying to track him and I was able to get a quick look before it disappeared. It was around here, Alec's around here." I froze and looked at Magnus, "That's great I'm so happy for you." I force a smile on my face.
We continued to talk for another two hours before Magnus declared that he had to go look for Alec. Though when he got to the door, Alec choose that exact moment to scream from a nightmare. I quick ran downstairs to Alec, unaware that Magnus was following me. I sat on the edge of the bed and whispered soft reassuring things into his ear and gently rubbed his shoulders being careful not to touch any of the bandages. When he shot up waking up, I grabbed the glass of water that I keep for emergency and put it up to his lips," Come on Alec drink some." He did as he was told and drank some water I then handed him a pill and he gladly took it because it was a pill to help with the pain.

MAGNUS'S P.O.V

I heard the screams and quickly followed Bailey downstairs. When I got downstairs I was shocked to see my love was the one screaming. I looked closer and saw multiple bandages all around him. I watched as my life long friend Bailey, sat down and calmed him down. "Bali, what's going on?" She looked up and continued to slowly rock Alexander whispering soft, gentle comforting words to him. "Maggie, I know you want to know what's going on but before that I need you to de me a favor. I need to to hold him and rock him like I'm doing." I slowly nodded and did what she asked. I watched her grab a first-aid kit and slowly take the blanket off Alexander's body and at what I saw I almost fainted. Blood was seeping through the bandages on his chest and the bandages on his back. When Bai took the bandages on his back off I saw the angry, swollen, whip marks. They oozed yellow and green substances, she wiped the substances away from the wounds. I watched as she carefully wiped and re-bandaged the wounds and then carefully turned him over and drew the blankets back up to his neck and adjusted the pillows so he was off his wounds. "Mag's come one, lets go." I carefully moved and stood up and left with her. We slowly walked to the room opposite of Alexander's. "I know, I know I have a lot of explaining to do. I found Alec 2 years and eight months ago. He was in Sebastian's camp and I had just found it and I was, I really was going to bring him back but he made me promise not to bring him back until he's healed and that he can do or say something without having flashbacks. I couldn't break that promise he's so broken and I know how Shadow Hunters can be and I didn't want him to shamed upon because he has so many scars and because he has PTSD from that stupid, horrible monster. Okay I know that I should have told you but I couldn't do that to him. I'm so, so, so sorry. I should have told you." Bailey rambled as I kept looking from her to Alec's room. "Its okay, I don't blame you I would have done the same thing." I still looked towards Alec room. I couldn't believe that he been found 2 years and eight months ago. "Bai, I've been looking for him since he disappeared. I haven't found any trace of him, even in this area. How did you do it?"

BAILEY'S P.O.V
I stared at Magnus as he asked me that question. "Magnus, I'm the oldest warlock and I'm half angel, half every down-worlder that exists. My father is the angel that the shadow hunters worship and my mother the wife of the 1st prince of hell. Yeah come on Mag's your so funny." Magnus shook his head and let a small smile take over his face. "Magnus I couldn't break my promise and honestly I can't really explain but I feel like I have to do this and he still isn't the greatest around others and some words he still can't say and it doesn't help the each wound is associated with a name, word, or just because he could." I looked at Magnus as he open and closed his fists. "Bai, what all did that devil do to him? And I want to help you care for him and help you do really anything and everything to help him get better." I looked at him, "Maggie I can't promise anything but I can say that I'll try. Also you need to be gone or at least out of sight when he walks up." I told him and I started walking upstairs. " one more thing Maggie. You can't tell anyone about this and if you do I'll make sure to kill you myself. Okay?" Magnus nodded and walked to the door, " I'll see you at the high down world council meeting later this week." I nodded and watched him leave. What am I going to do? Magnus wants to help and Alec wants to be left alone by everyone but her. What am I seriously going to do?

I want to thank all you guys for reading my book, sorry if I don't update very fast. It's because I have school and homework 😢. I'll try to update when I can be don't think I've forgotten about you or this book.
