Chapter 5 New Villain?

Dirk's p.o.v. Before the fight with Gamzee and Jane

Jake and I were on look out on the top of some buildings, scouting out the area. We had just gotten a message from aranea to watch out for janeyquin and some short troll clown in a suit. "Oi, that's tosh, there's no way there's a new villain, right dirk?" Jake said looking at me in his strong British accent. It's hard to understand him sometimes with his British words. "Jake, what's tosh?" I ask "oh sorry chap, it means none sense." He said smiling and looking around for the villains. I did the same. It was silent until we heard a loud bell ringing. I ran towards the sound of the bell with jake following me. We followed till we got to a bank close to the center of New York and saw two people running out with the bank with bags full of money in their hands. Jake and I followed them to an empty ally way. They ran towards the end alley way but we went down and landed five feet in front of them.

There stood janeyquin and a new villain. Well this is gonna be easy. "Hello janeyquin, I see you have a new friend. Mind introducing him to us?" I said "oh trust me, I'm not new and I'm the trickster!" He yelled and threw all these stack of cards from his pocket into the air. The cards fell in between us and made a huge card wall. "What the?!" I yelled in confusion

I could hear janeyquin and the trickster getting away. I quickly pull out my long samurai sword and slice up the wall of cards. Once the cards fell I saw the two trouble makers split up at the end of the alley way. Jake and I ran to the other side of the alley and he went left and I went right. I was going for after the trickster dude. He looked back at me and ran faster, making a quick turn. I do the same and turn to the corner only to trip on a bowling ball?!?! How the hell did this troll have a bowling ball on him?! "Hahaha!!!" He laughs and turns another corner, I get up and try to follow only to turn the corner and see him gone. "Damn it." I say to myself and go back to find jake. Once I find him I see that he had lost janeyquin too. "Hey chap, janeyquin ran off but I think I know where she went." He says and runs to a direction where she could be, I followed but we got stopped by roxy. "Hey guys, aranea told me to come and help you guys." She smiled to us "hey roxy, can I have a chat with you for a quicky?" Jake ask, roxy said yes and they walked away so I wouldn't hear them. I went ahead and took a quick look around the city while they talked.

~five mins later, still dirks p.o.v.~

It's been a few minutes and I haven't heard of jake and roxy in a while and it made me concerned. It's was silent for a few more seconds until I heard "Howdy strider! Fancy meeting you here." I quickly turn around "Jake?! What- ... what are you doing?" I asked him, he was hanging upside down right in front of me and was smiling like a cute idiot.

"Just kiss him dirk~ so I can leave." Roxy said, I look up and saw her holding jakes legs

"Roxy sh!! That's not- I mean I." Jake was about to blabber but with all honesty, I've been wanting to do this for a while. Yes, I've had a crush on him for a while but I was to nervous to ever ask him out so if this is the only chance I get to kiss him then I'll take it. I quickly grab his head and pull him into a kiss. I felt him freeze but he slowly melted into the kiss. We stay like that for a few seconds and I slowly pulled away. He looked so surprised which made me smirked but I quickly dropped it once I felt weight in my hands. "Whoops!" Roxy said smirking, I saw that roxy had let go of him so I caught jake in my arms. "Roxy!" Jake yelled and roxy had ran off. I looked down at jake and he was a blushing mess. I was blushing to but I was trying to keep my cool "Hehe, well this was unexpected." Jake said nervously, "not as unexpected as this." I say and kiss jake again. Jake kissed me back and we made out for a few minutes until we couldn't breathe and pulled away. We both probably looked like a tomato right now but I didn't care. I put jake down and said "we better go and find roxy and janeyquin." Jake nodded and we went to find roxy

Roxy's p.o.v.

In all honesty, when I said 'just kiss him dirk' I was messing around and I thought it would help me win the bet if he didn't do it. I didn't know it would backfire!!! I also dropped jake mostly because I was mad that I lost but I knew dirk was gonna catch him and probably make out with him again so I left those love birds alone. I ran off to scout around the area only to see someone run and hide behind a few buildings. Hehe, I think I just found the criminal!
