Chapter 6 Captured and Deals

Jane's p.o.v.

Before me and Gamzee split up I handed him the money because he always knew where to hide it. Then he told me to run the other way to split the boys up. I did as told and one of the boys started to chase me. I went around a few corners but he was still after me and I was getting tired. I kept running until I heard something that gave me an idea. I heard bells. Train bells. I kept running until I saw train tracks and a train coming towards me. I ran full speed towards it seeing that it was only a few seconds away. Then I jumped...

And like a pro I missed the train by an inch and landed on my feet! "Whoo! Yeah!" I cheered and looked back seeing him amazed that I made it. The train was long enough for me to run off and hide a few blocks down.

~ten minutes later~

I have been hiding making sure I was in the clear. I was hoping Gamzee would come and find me to help get me out of here but I highly doubt that. He probably just ran off to get the money back to the bunker. I hid behind buildings, slowly making my way back to everyone but I was stopped by a certain hero. Roxywoman. "Hey janeyquin, lets make this easy and you can just surrender now and my friends and I will find out what to do with you." I was scared with the last part, know one in the organization has ever been caught by the heroes and we don't know what they would do to us "how about you let me go and we forget about everything that happened." I say backing up "No can do, if you don't come then we'll have to do this the hard way." Roxywoman said and started walking towards me, I wanted to run but I knew I wouldn't make it far so I made a choice and took my stance.

She ran up to me and tried to hit me but I blocked and kicked her on her side. She stumbled back but kept her balance. She threw some punches that I block then I would throw some punches that she'd block. This went on for a few minutes until we both got tired and we took a quick break of fighting. "Man your pretty good." Roxywoman said panting "you too, training looks like a piece of cake compared to this." I said laughing and she laughed too "you got that right. Your not to bad of a villain, your pretty cool." She smiled standing up straight now "thanks your not to bad of a hero too."

"Truce?" She ask holding out her hand

"Truce." I said and shook her hand, falling right into her trap

She took both my hands and tied them together with a rope that she had on her suit. "Sorry, you may be cool but I still have a job to do." She said "it's ok, I would've done the same." I said and we smiled and joked for a bit until her two partners came and ruined our fun. "You're both bad at this, I'm doing all the work." She said annoyed "golly, we're sorry roxywoman, it won't happen again old chap." The jaker said in his British voice I had heard a few times before when we fought "yeah sorry, but we got janeyquin now so let's take her back to head quarters." The dirk knight said and put a blind fold on me "hey?!" "Sorry, we have to make sure you don't see the entrance." Roxywoman said and we all started walking back to their headquarters.

~15 mins later~

Everything was so dark because of the blind fold but once someone took it off I realized that I was in a jail cell. I looked around and saw other cells around me then I looked at the bars in front of me and I saw Roxywoman. "Where am I?" I asked

"Your in our cell room in our bunker. Your just gonna be here for a while till we know what to do with you."

No! This can't be happening! I need to go back home to john. I need to make sure he's ok. "Please don't make me stay here, I have to go home." I pleaded to her "sorry, I can't do that." She said, I started to panic "please I'm begging you, I have to get home." I pleaded again "I wish I can help but I can't let you free." "Then let's make a deal, I'll answer your questions if you let me go home." She thinks about what I say then starts to unlock the door "it's a deal, meet up with me every morning by the train tracks and I will take you back here to ask you questions." She says then opens the door "thank you!" I say and hug her, she takes a step back before she hugs me back. "No problem. you just have to have the blind fold when we leave or when I'm taking you back here." She says and wraps the blind fold around my eyes. I could feel her start walking me out the bunker, I couldn't hear anyone so I guessed that everyone was out. It took us a few minutes to get to the train tracks and she took the blind fold off of me. "Remember, be back here by 11." She said "I will, I promise. Goodbye." I said and ran back home.

~five minutes later~

I finally made it back home, I quickly took off my costume that was over my regular clothes before I enter my apartment. I quickly hide my costume in my room and go check on john, he was on his phone on his bed. "Hey John, how was your day?"

"It was good, just texted my friends all day." John said

"Ok, well tomorrow you can go with your friends, I have work to do early in the morning so I can drop you off at the park if you like."

"That sounds good, thanks Jane." John said smiling

"No problem john." I smiled back and left his room, closing his door. I go to my room and get ready for bed.

I'm dead tomorrow, one way or another. I think in my head, drifting of to sleep.
