Chapter 9 Long story

Third person p.o.v.
"It was long ago before I have ever met anyone here. Eridan and I were close friends but his life wasn't as easy as mine. He was always bullied when we were younger and it continued when we got older. Through it all I was always there for him, to support him. But one day, he heard about the hell crew and... he tried to get me to join along with him." Feferi said and everyone looked at eridan

Eridan just looked down with no emotion "what happened next?" Dave asked feferi "I... I said no, I didn't want to hurt other people, I didn't want to be evil. I told him that it was a bad idea to join the crew and that he shouldn't. We got into a big argument until I said that he had to choose, either stay with me or leave and join the crew.... then he said he doesn't want to leave me and I yelled why?!" Feferi stood silent "what did he say ff?" Sollux asked, glaring at eridan

"I said I love you..." eridan spoke and everyone turned back to him surprised

"I felt happy to finally say it to her." Eridan smiled one second but it faded the next "then she said that she didn't love me and that it might be best if I just left and join the crew." "Eridan I'm so sorry! I was angry and I wasn't thinking! I didn't really think you would actually join them!" Feferi apologize to eridan

"feferi, when I found out I almost died. I was caught when I found out about the hell crew and I was pinned to the ground in a web with a knife to my neck. They told me that if I join them then they wouldn't kill me. I was given another chance to live but they said if I joined I would have to keep it a secret and I-I didn't want to hide anything from you." A tear slipped from eridans face "but that night when you told me to leave, I felt like I had no one. I ran back to the crew and said yes because they were all I had left." Eridan said with no emotion "eridan, if I could I would turn back the clock and-" "and what Fef? Stop me? Tell me you love me when you really didn't?" Eridan interrupted Feferi "Look Fef, this may sound weird but I should really be thanking you." "What?!" Everyone yelled surprised "I was trained really hard and I learned how to defend myself. I learned a lot of new things from them-" "Eridan, they are the bad guys!" "Well so am I." Eridan said and sat down on a cell bench. Feferi turned around and ran upstairs with Sollux and Aradia following her.

"Wow, that was intense." John said in the empty room. The room was now only filled with four people, John, Dave, Jade and Eridan. Jade looked over at eridan "Eridan, if you were given a chance, would you like to join us?" Jade asked "what?!" All three of the boys questioned "Eridan, we can protect you. We are strong in numbers and the more people we have the more of a chance that we can win against the villains." Jade said "you... you guys don't know what we have." Jade went up to the cell bars "can you tell us?" Jade asked "if I do, do you promise that I will be safe?" Eridan question "we promise." John said going up to the cell bar, Dave walking up to it too. "W-We... we have a secret weapon." "What is it?" John asked "it's-" "John! Dave! Katman needs your help!" Aradia yelled bursting through the doors and running towards us.

"What happened?!" Dave asked sounding worried

"He got into a fight with Spiderette and she has a hostage!" Aradia said panicking

"Where are they?" John asked

"They are at the park a few minutes from here, it's called butterfly park if I remember. Hurry before it's too late!" Aradia said. John and Dave go to get their suits on and rushed out the door to the park, leaving Jade and Aradia with Eridan.
