Chapter 10 In Trouble

Zexia's p.o.v.
I was still at the park, listening to music and sketching some random drawings. Most of the people and trolls had left the park already instead of me and a girl I saw walking around by some trees. The sun was getting low which meant it was almost 6 so I packed up my stuff back into my bag until I heard someone sit in front of me on the picnic bench I was sitting on. I look up and saw the same girl who I saw by the trees. "Why hello~" the girl said to me. She was a troll with long, black hair put into a braid and was wearing a weird blue outfit, she was also wearing these sunglasses with one lens taken out and the other with seven ruby's on it in the middle and in the shape of a circle. Almost like she was cosplaying as someone.

"Uh hi?" I said a little confused on why she's talking to me

"What are you doing here all alone?" She asked

"I was just leaving, goodbye now." I said, I didn't have a good feeling with this girl. I stand up from the bench and had my bag on my back. I tried to walk away but the girl stood in front of me. "Hold on there! Your a feisty one aren't you. My names vriska and how would you like to join my team?" She asked "what kind of team? A sports team?" I said which made her laugh "oh honey no. I'm creating a super villain team and I want you to join me." Ok now it was my turn to laugh. A super villain team?! Ha! This isn't some book where villains and heroes live and fight each other. I finally stop laughing and look at her confused face. "I'm sorry, there is no such thing as super villains. If you're cosplaying as someone then you are doing a great job!" I said clapping which made her mad but curious "have you been living under a rock or something your whole life?" She asked "I guess you can say that." "Well, in case you didn't know, heroes and villains do exist and it's your lucky day because I'm making you apart of my team." "Thanks but no, if villains and heroes do exist I rather be a hero than a villain." I said and she got mad "fine, I guess I'll have to do this the hard way." Vriska says and quickly tie my hands together with some rope.

"HEY! LET ME GO!" I yelled but she started dragging me away from the park. "No can do, I need an army and the only way to do that is by force.

"Let her go spiderette!" I hear someone yell, me and vriska turn around and we see someone dressed up in a gray suit with a black K in the front and a red cape around his neck. Is it cosplay day today or something?! Where are these people coming from?!

Vriska growled looking at the boy who was walking closer to us. "Hey!" I yelled, vriska had put me in front of her and she held a knife to my neck. "Take another step closer and she's dead! I've killed before and I'll kill again!" She yelled which made the boy stop. I quickly kicked vriska in the knee and spun around her and put her in between my head and my hands that were tied up and close to her neck. "You're pretty fast girl." She said and cut the rope only to quickly get away from me "but not fast enough." She said and ran towards me with her knife. Once she got really close to me I jumped over her and did a front flip and stuck the landing. I turn to her and she was pissed! But amazed? I looked at the ground and noticed two weird, eight sided, blue dice on the ground. I picked up the dice and I saw her tense up a bit. "Throw the dice at her!" The dude yelled and I was totally confused. I shrugged my shoulders and threw the dice. Vriska tried to run from the dice for some reason but once the dice landed on the numbers 6 and 4, a rope appeared out of nowhere and tied her up, making her fall to the ground. I was in shock!

The other troll ran up to me worried. "Hey, are you ok?" He asked me "what the literal hell just happened?!" I yelled looking at him "it's ok, just calm the fuck down. I'm guessing you never been in a hero and villain fight before." "I never knew about heroes and villains living in the city until now!" I was seriously flipping out! "Seriously?" He asked and I nodded my head. Wait? Who the hell are those two? In the distance I saw two people running towards us.

"Katman!" I heard two people yell, the troll who I assumed was 'katman' turned around and his whole attitude changed. "Where were you fuckers?! Someone could have been seriously hurt!" He yelled at the two people who are now in front of us. One of them had a black and brown bird outfit with shoes that looked like bird claws and black wings on their back with a brown hood over their head and the other was covered in blue from head to toe and had a blue, long hood over their head. "Sorry katman, we ran as fast as we could." The one in the blue hood said. He sounded so familiar for some reason. Katman just face palm and groaned "never mind, we have it under control." "We?" The person in the bird outfit asked and Katman gestured to me "HER?!" Both bird boy and blue man questioned "yeah she saved herself and captured spiderette, se-" Katman pointed to where vriska was or 'spiderette' was and we noticed that she was gone. How did she get away? "WHAT THE FUCK?! SHE WAS RIGHT HERE!" Katman yelled "it's ok, we will get her next time. But first let's get this girl back home." The bird man said and looked over to me.

"let me introduce you to everyone, I'm birdboy." He said pointing to himself

"This is spiral." He said turning to the blue man

"And this is katman." He said looking at the troll

I was still trying to process everything that just happened. I snapped back once I saw all of them starring at me. "O-Oh, I'm sorry. I'm zexia." I say to them and they nod to me "can I ask a quick question?" "Sure, what is it?" Spiral asked "do I know you two from somewhere?" I said pointing to spiral and birdboy. They both looked down and birdboy said quickly "nope, you don't know us at all." Which made me really suspicious. "Oh ok, well can I at least get a hug from my big strong heroes?" I sugarcoated them and they gave me a big hug. Once we went to pull away I quickly pulled down their hoods and saw who they were. "JOHN?! DAVE?!" I yelled looking at them. Katman started laughing out loud "Oh my gog! I knew she was up to something but I didn't know she was that slick! Hahaha!" He laughed.

"Ok, I knew their was something weird about you guys but I didn't know you guys were heroes!"

"You thought we were weird?" Dave paused for a second "you thought I was weird and not cool?" Dave questioned "hey!" John yelled which made dave chuckle

"Ok we're getting off topic, I want a clear answer on everything that just happened right now and a few minutes before when I was fight with vriska!" I yelled to all three of them and they looked confused. "Wait, you know that girls name?" Katman asked "yeah she told me, why?" "How about this, we give you some answers if you tell us what you know." Dave said "deal." I say "now before we tell you anything you have to come back with us." Dave said and he grab my hand and starts dragging me somewhere "wait where are we going?!" I ask "to our bunker, where everyone else is." He said and I pull my hand away from dave. "Where everyone else is?" I questioned "trust us zexia. You'll be safe." John said holding his hand out. I think for a second and grab his hand and we all start running to where their bunker was. But only one thing was going through my mind. I'm gonna be in so much trouble if my brothers get home before me!
