Chapter 16 The Trade

John's p.o.v.

I didn't know what happened, one minute I was on the ground and the next I was outside, blindfolded and was walking somewhere till we suddenly stopped. The Hell crew were whispering behind me. After a few minutes I felt something cold and sharp on my neck. "Woah! Hey! Wait! They still have five minutes to get here!" Vriska yelled to someone who sounded angry and anxious. After about a minute or two I heard footsteps.

"Stop right there! That's far enough!" The person holding the knife to my neck yelled.

"We're here! Now let go of him!" I hear Dave yelled

"First where's Zexia?!" The guy yelled again

"Take the blindfold off and then we will show you her!" Dave yelled back again. The man did as he was told and I saw the whole group ten feet away from us. Then Zexia walked to the front of them. "We let them go at the same time then we go our separate ways! Deal?" Jade yells and the Hell crew nods. They let me go and Zexia and I start walking towards the middle. Vriska had told me that their plan changed but I didn't know what she meant until now. But why do they want Zexia? Once we met in the middle Zexia grabbed my arm and whispered "Text me soon." Then she pushed me away and kept walking to the Hell crew. Once we were on our sides I heard an explosion, it sounded like fireworks?

I turned around and saw fireworks off in the distance, the villains turned around and Sollux used his psionics on them. Before I knew it I was getting dragged down into the sewers. "What the?!" "John it's ok, this is part of the plan." Dave said bringing me down the ladder followed by everyone else. Once every was down here Sollux quietly shut the sewer lid so the villains wouldn't hear us. We all got down the ladder and Kanaya made her body glowed for light support. "What the hell happened up there?!" I whispered yell to Dave. "Look, we will tell you everything when we get back but right now isn't a good time and place." Dave said. We all started walking a certain direction until I heard something swimming towards us. "Do you guys hear that?" I ask. We stopped and heard it again. something was swimming and it was heading our way. We look the direction on where it was coming from and saw two pair of horns appear from out of the water, getting even closer. We waited until the creature popped up and we saw who it was. Eridan?! "Dude! You scared us!" Dave yelled "Sorry, I was just making sure that you guys didn't leave me." Eridan said "Why would we? You helped us create the distraction to get back John." Feferi smiled "I would've left him." Sollux snickered which only made Eridan glare at him. "Oh shut it Sol." Eridan said crawling out of the sewer water which stinked for him. We all started walking again and made it back to the forest to which we then entered the bunker. "Ok, now tell me what that was all about." I asked Dave.

Zexia's p.o.v.

Once everyone got away we were set free from Sollux psionics and we looked back to see everyone gone. "W-Where did they go?" I asked trying to sound worried "Doesn't matter, now what happened? How did they get you?!" Gamzee said making me turn to him and the his group. "I-I don't know, I was in my room and some how one of them just came into my room and just captured me. I got free from one of them but that was until you saw me on the monitor and they grabbed me again. They put me in a room and told me to wait until it was time for me to go with you." I said to Gamzee "Did they hurt you?" He asked concerned "No, I'm fine." I said smiling to Gamzee, he smiled back and hugged me and so did Kurloz. We let go and Gamzee said "It's time that you finally know the truth about your brothers business." Gamzee said and we started to walk to what I assumed where their bunker is but I couldn't shake the feeling of being watched.

Aranea's p.o.v.

I was watching the cameras until something started to interrupt one of the cameras. I went to cam 12 and saw fireworks, that's weird, there's no special earth holiday today? I went to cam 7 that was on willow street and saw something unbelievable! All the villains in place but there was also something else that caught my eye. Someone went down into the sewers and closed the lid to get away from the villains or that's what I assumed. I didn't get a good glimpse of who got away but once I looked away I saw that the villains were gone too. Damn so close! I thought. There may be a chance that the villains will go back to that spot along with whoever went down into the sewers. "Dirk do you copy?" I asked through my headset "Yeah, what's the matter?" He asked "I need you and all the other Heroes to go down to willow street." I ordered "What? Why? What happened?" "I saw all the villains there but they disappeared. There might be another villain meet up there. I need you guys there in case there is." "Ok, copy that." Dave said leaving the headset call. I don't know why but something just doesn't feel right about all of this. Why does it feel like that was my last call to Dirk?

Dirk's p.o.v.

I finished the call from Aranea and started to call everyone to willow street. Roxy told me that Jane was gonna come and that Porrim made her a hero costume. I didn't care as long as she had a costume and mask to hide her identity. Once I finished making all the calls, which took around ten minutes, Jake and I started to head down to willow street. I hope Aranea's right about another Villain meet up.
