Chapter 19 Leaving or Changing?

Zexia's p.o.v.

I woke up feeling something very soft underneath me. It felt like my bed? Wait, I'm in my room? How did I get here?! I sit up from my bed and look around my room. Everything seems to be the same. I get up and leave out my room. I walk around my house and see my brothers door open, inside was my brother, Kurloz, packing some of his stuff. "KurloƵ??" He turned around and started to sign to me. (This '' means signing)

'Zexia! I'm glad to see you up, now please get pack.' Kurloz signed sorta in a hurry.

"Why are we packing?? What's going on??" I questioned him.

'We are leaving Zexia.'

"Leaving??!! But why and how did I even get here?? What happened since I been asleep??"

'Gamzee said to bring you here and to get ready. Once he gets here we are gone.' Kurloz signed again.

"What?? No!! We are not leaving!! It's just gonna be the saṀe thing when we Ṁove and I don't want to hear the lies again!!"

'Zexia we are sorry about lying to you but we promise not to ever again. But we have to leave.'

"We don't have to leave!!" Kurloz just continued to pack. I ran in front of him to stop him. "Listen to Ṁe!!" Kurloz stopped in shock. I felt electricity go through my horns and my body which probably scared Kurloz. Do I have psionics now? Nevermind, I'll think more about that later. "KurloƵ, I don't want to leave. I'Ṁ happy here and your not the only one that lied. The truth is, I sneak out of the house to see the world. I know I'Ṁ not suppose to but I had too. I couldn't just be kept in this house forever. I don't want to leave because everything we have is right here with us. Yes you guys are villains but can't you try to change?" Kurloz was furious at me but he understood what I was saying.

'I'm not promising anything but we can stay and I'll try to change. Ok?' I hugged my brother tightly and he hugged me back.

"Ok, now let's go get GaṀƵee and talk to the heroes. I'Ṁ pretty sure that won't turn the villains in unless they do soṀething irrational." I told him.

'What will happen to me?' Kurloz signed.

"I will Ṁake sure they don't hurt you. They will Ṁore likely keep you in a rooṀ safe away froṀ theṀ. Just talk to GaṀƵee." I told him and he nodded. He walked out his room and before I left I grabbed the black book that was still on his bed. The cover had two white circles and a stitched up white mouth in the front. It sorta looked like Kurloz? I closed the book and ran out the room.

"CoṀe on! I know where the organization is." I say running out the house with Kurloz right behind me.

Sorry for the long wait and the short chapter!! I honestly thought I posted this a month ago!! I'll be posting more chapters soon hopefully since this is my last week of school. I'm hoping to finish this book in the summer, it's going to be coming to an end real soon so I hope you're happy with this story. That said, see y'all in the next chapter!! Bye!!
