I looked from the girl to B.R.I.A.N. but I have literally never seen this girl in my life, so how would he know her.
She was very thin, had a lip piercing and light brown hair up in a ponytail. She had the same uniform as everyone else and nothing too special stood out. Her confused, brown eyes just looked at us while B.R.I.A.N. continuously went "Uhh..."
The guys were snickering behind me like they knew something I didn't.
"Table for 15 please." Brock finally said and B.R.I.A.N. finally stopped.
He looked dazed and had the stupidest smile on his face.
She nodded and lead us to our table. We ordered our drinks while she handed us the menu and soon walked off. I turned to B.R.I.A.N.
"What happened back there?" I whispered, "Did you malfunction?"
He shook his head, but didn't say anything. He was looking at the table with a grin and just fiddled with the silverware in front of him.
"Y/N," Tyler said, "he thought the waitress was cute."
"Very cute." B.R.I.A.N. added, making the table laugh.
"That's adorable!" Brock cooed.
B.R.I.A.N.'s face got all red and he started to let off a lot of heat.
"Hey, Lover-Boy," Lui said to him, "You're over heating."
He felt his face and gabbed a menu and started fanning himself. I looked around the tiny dinner but didn't see anything too important. I looked at the girl B.R.I.A.N. went gaga over and spotted a name tag I didn't notice before.
"Her names Lania." I said to him.
"And she's coming this way." Tyler added.
She came over and everyone but B.R.I.A.N. ordered because he's a robot and he doesn't need food, but he did get a water. Plus he couldn't talk to this girl because he thought she was so cute.
She walked away and I looked at the table. We all talked for a bit and suddenly, Bryce's phone rings.
He walks away and answers it. We continue to talk until he got back. He had a worried look on his face and said, "I can't help you guys get the girls and kids."
"What?"
"Why not?"
"What's wrong?"
We all bombarded him with questions and he just put his hand up to make us shut up. We did and he said, "My mom and brother got in a really bad accident back in Georgia, so I'm going to go there and...see what I can do."
He sounded croaky and dead. I felt really bad. He explained that he was just going to leave now, take a taxi to the airport, fly to Georgia, and go from there. We nodded, said out goodbyes and just like that, he left.
I watched as he walked down the road, trying to get as far away from the restaurant as possible so it wouldn't be awkward. I sighed. I really didn't want to see him go, but we left for our families, he can leave for his.
I just hope the little blonde bean will be okay.
I looked at Ryan and we looked worried. I don't blame him. Nearly everyone else here is a fucking dick to him and the only reason they haven't killed him yet just left. Plus, his best friend is now gone and we don't even know if he'll be okay.
Our meal was quiet and uncomfortable after that. It's been five minutes and I already miss Bryce's spirit of not wanting anything to be quiet.
Well, we have David, but he's incredibly annoying.
