~ (Y/n)'s POV ~

I had been staying at my best friend's house for a month now.

I ate the food she was able to sneak up to me and I went to the bathroom when no one was around. It was honestly kinda fun. In a way it sort of felt like an ongoing sleepover.

Little did I know that would all change soon enough.

I heard the door open and close which made me perk up.

"It's just me." (Y/f/n) whisper yelled.

I smiled and opened the small door.

"How were your neighbors?" I asked.

"They were good." (Y/f/n) said smiling as well.

"Well I-" I began but stopped as the door opened.

"(Y/f/n), who are you talking t-" (Y/f/n)'s mom began but stopped when she saw me.

"Mom, it's not what it looks like." (Y/f/n) began as her mom pushed (Y/f/n) behind her.

(Y/f/n)'s mom stared at me in shock before pulling out her phone.

"Please! You don't understand! I'm not crazy!" I pleaded.

(Y/f/n)'s mom continued with her call.

"I found your daughter. She's at my house." (Y/f/n)'s mom spat.

I knew I couldn't fight my way out because I could never hurt (Y/f/n)'s family and there was no way to escape.

I looked over at (Y/f/n) who looked back at me. We both stared at each other knowing the jig was up.

(Y/f/n)'s mom hung up and looked me right in the eyes.

"They're coming. Don't even think of running." She spat before leaving the room pulling (Y/f/n) with her.

Tears formed in my eyes as a sob escaped my mouth.

This was it. I'm going to Arkham Asylum.

Tears fell down my face as I hugged my best friend.

"I'm so sorry for getting you mixed up in this." I whispered.

"It's fine, although I'm probably going to be grounded forever." (Y/f/n) said laughing lightly.

I smiled at her before hugging her one last time.

"Time to go, sweetheart." My mom said from the door.

I whipped around.

"Shut the fuck up you piece of shit! You do not get to call me sweetheart, understand? You're sending me to a literal asylum! I will never forgive you for this." I spat letting everything go that I had been holding in.

The room was silent as my mom stood clearly shocked.

"Let's go." I said to the two men in white uniforms.

I walked past my mom and exited my best friends house before getting in the van that was waiting outside.

"Here we go." I whispered to my self before we drove off to Arkham Asylum.

The van pulled up to the gates of the Asylum as I looked out the window and saw the large arch that read ARKHAM ASYLUM.

I looked at the angles that stood illuminated by the lanterns a few feet below them as the driver talked to the officer that controlled the gate. I thought it strange that they'd have angles outside this hell hole.
