15 - Camping Trip

(Y/N)'s POV

"Extra clothes, books, pokeballs, water, snacks, notebook, pencil case..." I mutter to myself, rummaging through my backpack to check if everything was there. Last week, the teachers announced that we will be having a campong trip today, and I couldn't stop thinking about it ever since. "That should be everything! All right, I'm ready!"

"Tomorrow's gonna be sooo much fun! I know it!" I exclaimed as I lay on my bed, staring at the ceiling. Slowly, my grin started to fade."Ah, another school trip."

"School trip..." I murmured again, sadness and guilt suddenly running through me. I closed my eyes as flashbacks of that day came back to me. I opened my eyes, only to find it filled with tears, "I'm sorry Ash...you saved me twice..yet I never did....I'm sorry..."

If only I listened to him..

"No!" I wiped my tears away, shotting up up be. "I shouldn't think about that! I shouldn't think about bad things happening! The past is over, and it will never happen again!" I shouted to no one.

"Everything will definitely be all right,"

"Look at this place, it's so beautiful!" I exclaim as I look around my surrounding. Different colored tents were set up nicely on the ground, all in a circle. In the middle sat a bunch of woods, ready for a fire. Students walked wround the campsite, chatting with each other.

"I know! I'm super excited for today!" Serena agreed. 

"All right, everyone, gather up, I have an announcement to make," Our teacher said as everyone gathered around her.

"Okay everyone, we will be having dinner at exactly 7:00 PM. You can go anywhere you want and do anything you want, but don't go too far and remember to go to the cabin behind me before 7:00 PM. All right, dismissed," She explained.

"Where do you guys wanna go?" Serena asks us.

"Anywhere but a cliff," I said immediately before I could stop myself, and everyone laughed.

"You're still scared?" Ash ask me.

"Well, yeah...." I trailed off.

"Come on (Y/N), it'll be fine! Everything will definitely be all right,"  Bonnie added, offering me a reassuring smile. I smile back. She really always know how to make me feel better.

Everything was definetely going to be okay.

"Yeah, I'm sorry... But please, can we not go to a cliff or anywhere dangerous?" I plead.

"How about... Ah! Let's just walk around the forest over there!" Bonnie suggested, pointing her index finger at the forest behind us.

"That's a great idea! Let's go!" I said running, towards the forest as everyone else trail behind me.

"This forest is so majestic..." I trailed off, looking around the view that was all around us.

"I know!" Bonnie agreed.

After hours of walking, talking and laughing, we went back to the cabin and had a little snack break. Then we just sat there and talked more until it was 7:00 PM. We went inside our tent, which was the red one, and just rested for a while. 

After our dinner, the five of us were having a conversation, and suddebly, we were all arguing whether we should tell scary stories or not.
