25 - School Festival Part Two

(Y/N)'s POV

'Someone please... Please... Just please stop the play, please...' I begged, sweat falling down my forehead uncontrollably as my heart continues to pound. 'Please...'

My heart was beating so fast to the point that I feel like I was gonna die. I really don't like this at all. I've been begging for like 3 minutes, yet nothing came. No one saved me. I'll never forget this moment. Ever.

Please someone stop this play.

Bonnie's POV

'Hurry up! Just do it already!'

Serena's POV

'I wonder if (Y/N)'s okay...' (Btw she's at the back of the stage and so is Clemont)

Clemont's POV

'Is (Y/N) all right?'

(Y/N)'s POV

Help.

Without thinking, I opened my eyes, pushed Ash away and stood up, "I can't do this anymore!" I shouted, not having second thoughts. Everyone stared at me with shock in their eyes.

Bonnie's POV

'What is she doing?!'

Serena's POV

'What is she...?'

Clemont's POV

'Oh, no...'

(Y/N)'s POV

Everyone was staring at me with shock, and out of the corner of my eye, I can see three girls about to burst laughing. And not even 10 seconds, they started to laugh, really loud. And it was only then that I realized I did the biggest mistake in my entire life.

The next thing I knew, everyone was laughing. Laughing at me. Laughing mercilessly, not even thinking about what I might feel.

I clenched my fists into a tight ball and looked down, my hair covering my face as I struggled to fight the tears that were on the verge of falling.

"What... was...that?" I can hear a girl say between laughs.

"That.. was.. epic!" Another one said.

"Good thing I recorded that!" One more shouted.

I can feel a tear sliding down my cheeks, and without a second thought, I put my arms on my eyes and ran into the back stage as quickly as I can.

"(Y/N)!" I heard Clemont and Serena call me, but I ignored them. I just ran, ran and ran. I just ran with my right arm covering my eyes, and salty tears falling down my facw. I just ran.. into nowhere.

I ran out of the auditorium and went into the rooftop. There, I went over to a bench, and completely broke down. I was crying nonstop I couldn't even see anything.

Just what was I thinking?

It's all because of this play. If only I didn't get the role of the princess.. if only we didn't have to kiss.. everything would've probably been all right.

All because of that stupid play-

"(Y/N)?"

I turned around.

"A- Ash?"

"(Y/N), are you all right?" He asked, taking a step closer to me.

"Y-yeah.." I said trying to wipe my tears away.

"Why did you do that?" He asked, taking a seat next to me.

I look away, feeling utterly embarrassed. "I don't even know.." I mumble.

"You were embarrassed, that's why you did that, right?" I nodded.

"Why didn't you just tell our teacher?"

"I-I can't.. That'll ruin the play.."

"You should've just told me,"

"I-I didn't even think about that.." I mutter.

"Well, it's okay now," he says reassuringly.

"Yeah," I trailed off, suddenly lost in the beauty of the sunset in front of us. "But everyone will still laugh at me when we go to school tomorrow.."

"I'll make sure they won't,"

I smiled, then turned to him.  "Thanks.."

"Now come on, let's enjoy this festival," He said, standing up.

"Wait,"

He looked at me. "Yeah? What is it?"

I took a deep breath.

"I have something to say."

I silently prayed that I hadn't made the wrong decision again.

I hope this chapter wasn't as bad as the last one. And also,there's probably 1 or 2 more chapters left of this book.
