Cato screams for excitement. We dash to the best of our ability to the water, where she slugs.

The water is quite thick, so it's hard to run through, so my bandage begins to unravel around my ankle. Crap. Yet I continue, I hold my eyes on Katniss's braid and run in the front of our group.

When were out of the water, we run much quicker, not losing sight. I have waited so long for this. The moment I reach Katniss, she is halfway up a towering tree. " You know you can't stay up there forever, Katniss!" I yell at her.

Once all the careers have gathered at the base if the tree, Cato begins to climb. He won't make it,yet I still encourage him.

"Kill her, Cato!" Clove screams.

Sweat trickles down his face as he grabs a small branch, it snaps, and he tumbles to the ground. I would assume he has at least one broken bone. But he's Cato, nothing defeats him.

"I'll do it myself" I proclaim.

I aim my bow at her head, and release without thinking. I miss.

Out if anger, Cato snatches my bow and tries himself. he misses too.

"Let's just wait her out" Peeta suggests.

"She'll have to come down sometime. Either that or she'll starve to death."

I exchange looks with Cato.

"Fine" Cato says. "Somebody make a fire" he demands. Of course, he means me.

.

That night, I actually had a fun time. Myself and the other careers chatted and bragged for hours.

Cato sticks the tip of his sword in the burning flames before us. I giggle as he blows on it. Clove sits, knifing a nearby lizard. Marvel lays, sharpening his spear.

Katniss is still slumping in the tree what will it take for her to come down, and concede? The cries of her poor sister? I don't even know.

"Let's get some rest" Cato says, tired.

I lay on his arms, but he's too tired to notice. And I drift.
