I opened my eyes and stared up at the white ceiling. The memories of what had happened came back, along with the sudden pain in my back and face. I groaned and closed my eyes, shifting a bit on the couch I was laying on.

"Oh my god, Eren, you're awake!" I heard Armin call. I opened my eyes and looked over to my left. He walked quickly towards me, while the others were standing in the doorway, a worried look on his face.

"Why are you staring at me as if I died and came back to life?" I said, slowly raising myself up on the couch. I winced as pain shot up my back. "Fuck, that really hurts.." I muttered.

"Because that guy beat the shit out of you." Connie said, his face looking concerned.

I sighed, moving my hand up to touch my face. It felt sore and aced like hell.

"do I look cool at least?" I said, looking up at Armin. A small smile formed on his lips and he struggled not to laugh.

"Hell no.. Are you alright?" His expression changed to one of concern.

"Yeah.. fucking hurts though."

I let out a laugh and tried to smile, but ended up making a weird grimace because of the pain. I moved my eyes from his to look around the room.

The room was plain looking, there was a huge bookshelf to my right and to my left was another couch, next to it was a door with a sign that said "Principal Pixis". I realized I had been here once before; The day before I started school, Principal Pixis had spoken to Mikasa and me to give us information about classes and other non-important stuff.

The door to the office opened and my eyes immediately locked with the stone cold eyes of the guy who fucked up my face. He quickly looked away making a 'tch' sound, and moved to sit down on the couch to my left.

"I'll be back Levi, don't go anywhere." Principal Pixis said and looked over at me. I quickly looked away, not daring to meet his eyes. I wondered what he thought of me, the new kid picking fights, probably wanted attention because he was new. "We should get you cleaned up Eren, come with me." He said walking towards the exit.

We walked down the hall, me trying to keep up with his fast pace. "Only your second week and you already got in trouble," Pixis said, shaking his head.

"Sorry, it's my fault.. I-"

"Your fault? Wasn't Levi the one who started it? He told me what happened." He interrupted. I looked at him in confusion.

"No, it was me who bumped in to him a-" I rushed, but got cut off once again.

"Calm down, Eren. You won't get in any kind of trouble."

I began to feel frustrated at the way he brushed off what I tried to say, like I had done nothing wrong. I was about to open my mouth to speak when principal Pixis stopped and turned to open a door with a sign that said "Nurse's office".

"Go in there, nurse Marlene will aid you."

He started to walk back towards where we came from, but I called after him. I wasn't about to let that Levi guy be blamed for the whole thing.

"Principal Pixis!"

He stopped and turned around.

"I'm the one who punched first. I don't know why he would try to cover for me, but don't lay all the blame on him, I started it.. sorry." I said while scratching my neck. He looked a bit surprised at first, but then smirked and turned around, walking down the hall. I raised my brow at him as he walked away, then shook my head and turned to walk in to the nurse's office.
