We followed the line of people out of the cinema and into the street. The chill November air sent shivers through my body. I wrapped my jacket tighter around me, hoping it would keep the warmth from leaving me. I felt the adrenaline rushing through my body as it always did after watching an exciting movie, especially after going to the cinema.
"That was great! Marvel did it again." I grinned towards Armin, practically jumping up and down. Armin laughed, "you always get so hyped after watching movies," he shook his head at me, "I'm still not sure how I feel about the new actor though, I still feel attached to the first guy.." I shrugged. "I think he's alright, he did a good job." Armin rolled his eyes, "you just think he's cute." I sighed, "no I don't.. I think he's hot."
Armin snorted and was about to say something when someone grabbed a hold of us. "Hey again! The movie was great, right? It was so funny, I couldn't stop laughing.. And that guy!" Hanji grinned and moved with the same kind of energy I had a couple minutes before. I grinned back at her, "Fuck yeah!" I high fived her, and turned my head towards Armin, who looked up at us like we were complete retards. I cleared my throat and moved my eyes to Erwin, who was standing further from us, looking uncomfortable.
"Anyways, was there something you wanted?" I looked back at Hanji, who was still grinning. She widened her eyes a bit and stopped smiling, "Oh, yes. Could I talk to you privately for a moment?" She looked at Armin pleadingly. Armin nodded and gave her a small smile, "of course. Eren, I'll meet you by mom's car, she's waiting." I nodded at him and watched him walk around the corner of the building. I turned my head towards Hanji and raised my brow at her, waiting for her to talk.
"Okay, so I didn't really want to ask you this, but I don't know what else to do.." I looked at her in confusion, but nodded, gesturing for her to continue. "We are leaving for a week long school trip on Monday morning, and I haven't really been able to contact Levi for a few days.. I don't think he's going to come.." She said, her voice dropping. My heart started racing at her words.
"I tried going to his house, call him, call his work, but he never answered.. so I was just wondering.." She stopped and looked at me with pleading eyes. My eyes widened, "no fucking way, Hanji! He hates me!"
"He doesn't! Eren, I'm sorry I know it's a lot to ask, but that fucking midget.. I'm worried." Hanji said, her eyes tearing up. I looked away quickly. "Do you really think he will answer if it's me? You're his best friend and he doesn't answer.." I took a deep breath. "What's all this about anyways?" My heart was pounding in my chest and I had to clench my fists to keep them from shaking. "I don't think I can tell you that.." She said. I sighed, closing my eyes to think.
Why did it have to be me? There was no way in hell he would answer if it was me anyways, he clearly told me to stay the fuck away from him. However, the look on Hanji's face was making my heart ache, and I had to admit I was a bit concerned myself.
"I wouldn't ask if I knew someone else.. but there isn't anyone." I sighed again, cursing at myself. "Okay.. I can go tomorrow. I blame you if I get killed." Hanji's eyes lit up and she wrapped her arms around me, hugging me tightly. "Thank you so much, Eren, you have no idea how much this means to me, you're such a good person." She said, sounding relieved. "It's fine.. I have to go now, Armin's mom is waiting." She let go and I smiled at her before turning around and walking towards where Armin went, already dreading what was to come.
I got in the back seat next to Armin and strapped myself in, leaning my head against the head rest, sighing. "You okay? What was that about?" Armin said, looking at me curiously. "I'm fine, nothing important, just school stuff.." I said, rubbing my eyes tiredly.

I sat down by the kitchen table, groaned and laid my head in my hands. I hadn't been able to sleep last night again; the promise I made constantly went through my mind, along with every other paranoid thought possible. I ended up gaming the whole night to keep my mind off it, resulting in me only getting a few hours of sleep after passing out from exhaustion.
"Did you stay up all night gaming again?" I heard Mikasa say from the other side of the room. I lifted my head from my hands to look at her. "What makes you think that?" I said, rubbing my eyes. She snorted, "for one, I know you. Second, you haven't even changed clothes since yesterday." I looked down at my wrinkled clothes and sighed. "You're good, I didn't even notice."
I looked back up at her and she had an amused look on her face. "What's the time anyways?" I said, frowning at her. "3PM" She said, walking over to the fridge. "You want something to eat?" She looked over at me and I nodded. "Sure, anything is fine."
She started making some pancakes with the leftover batter from the day before. "How was the movie by the way? I heard the new Spider-man guy is cute." I laughed, "yeah it was good, and yes. I still don't get why you didn't come with us." She shrugged, "I had other plans." I didn't say anything, only stared at her back hoping she would confess.
"What?"
She turned around and looked at me boredly. I smirked at her. "What kinda plans?" She rolled her eyes and turned back around, plating the pancakes and walking over to me, shoving the plate into my hands. "Eat your pancakes." I laughed putting the plate down on the table.
"It was a date, wasn't it? Was it Mr. sandy haired boy?" I wiggled my brows at her, taking a bite of my pancake. "None of your business." I pointed my fork at her, "so it was a date!" She gave me a glare, "shut up, Eren." I sighed.
"It's not fair though.. How come I have to tell you everything about my life, but you can keep secrets like this?" I pouted my lip at her. "You don't have to tell me everything about your life, you just choose to." I raised my brow at her, "really?" She sighed, putting the dishes in the sink.
"It was nothing special, we just ate with some of his friends." I made a grimace, "he brought his friends?.. Even I know you shouldn't do that.." She snorted, "well yeah I was a bit surprised too."
I finished eating and stood up to put my plate in the sink, then turned towards Mikasa who was cleaning the benches. "Hey.. I have somewhere to go later, is that okay with you? I know we were supposed to catch up with Supernatural, but it's kinda important.." She raised her brow at me, "where are you going?" I sighed, "I choose to tell you about my life, you say?" She kept looking at me.
"I'm going to Levi's house," I held my hand up as she was about to open her mouth to say something, "and before you say anything, I'm going because Hanji asked me. She hasn't been able to contact him and is worried about him.. Somehow, she thought me going there would help, which I didn't agree with, but I told her I would try even if I would probably get killed." I finished, taking a deep breath then exhaling.
"I probably won't be long."
Mikasa nodded at me slowly. "Okay." I raised a brow at her. "What? no, 'hell no, Eren, you aren't going to meet that asshole, he's just gonna hurt you and smash your face to the ground!'?" I said, imitating her voice. She gave me an annoyed look, "I don't sound like that.. And no, you said Hanji hadn't been able to contact him, right? Maybe when hearing you he will be angry enough and come out and 'smash your face to the ground'." I looked at her, surprised, "so I was right about half of what I said then, he's gonna kill me?" She nodded.
"Probably. However, before you go, help me clean a bit around here." I groaned as she handed me the vacuum cleaner.
