SOFIA'S POV

I scrunched my eyes in response to the early morning sunlight that was shining in them. I've never felt so relaxed in my life, I relished in the moment as I rolled onto my back, savoring the pillowy mattress.

"Wow, my mattress is never usually this comfortable," I thought to myself.

As I stretched my legs in order to shift my position, I felt a strong pang in between my legs. I shot my eyes open, jolting me out of my morning grogginess.

The sight that met my eyes was foreign;

"Completely white sheets?" I thought as I looked down towards the mattress.

I turned my head and saw a sleeping Niall, snuggled into his pillow with his arms perfectly shaped to be holding someone in them.

Electric sparks shot throughout my body as I suddenly realized why I wasn't waking up in my own room this morning. My body burned as I recalled the events from last night, how could I ever have forgotten?

Niall groaned slightly, breaking me from my thoughts.

I stared at him in awe and shock. I'm in such disbelief at the fact that last night wasn't a dream, it was very much real life.

Finally, in front of my very eyes, I have the one person who I never thought I would ever be able to see, let alone spend the night with. Lucky is an understatement.

Suddenly remembering the reason why I woke up, I sought out to asses the pain between my legs. I now realized why it was there, but I stretched my legs around to see what I was dealing with. Soreness ached in my core, and my inner thighs along with my bum felt like I had done something like 500 squats.

I flipped onto my side again, wincing in pain as I did so. I stared at Niall, sleeping peacefully, with the sun casting its warm glow on his handsome face. I moved my hand close to his arm, close enough just to have my fingertips graze the side of his forearm. I curled my fingers and grazed my knuckles against his soft skin, admiring every inch. I wanted to run my hand through his hair but I didn't want to wake him.

"How is this beautiful man mine? Can it be true?" I thought in amazement.

I looked up at his face and studied his sleepy expression. His face completely at rest; lips softly parted, eyes gently closed, his baby hairs falling slightly in his face, now that his quiff had been roughed around and slightly flattened overnight.

I gazed at him for some time before he began to stir, igniting a fire in my belly.

"Should I pretend to sleep? He will probably think I'm crazy for staring at him sleeping," I quickly made my decision as he began what seemed to be his process of waking up.

I heard him groan a bit and move his arms around, fixing his head into the pillow he was laying on. He inhaled and held his breath for a moment before releasing it.

"Ugh," he groaned softly.

He must have opened his eyes because he inhaled for a moment, then said out loud,

"Oh, my princess." He said barely above a whisper. It took everything I had not to squeal in reaction to his statement.

"It's freezin' in 'ere," he said, making me aware of the temperature of the room, as I had been too distracted to notice beforehand. "How'd these covers get off of ya?" He whined in sympathy as I felt him pull the covers up and over my body.

A warmth spread throughout my body at both the physical contact of the comforter, but also from his heartwarming gesture.

"He is truly an angel sent by God, where did this sweet boy ever come from?" I thought to myself in admiration.
