5. Tour Bus Troubles

(A/N; September 2016) Sorry if the story is super cheesy LOL this is my first time writing a serious story and also my first time writing 1D fanfics. I hope you enjoy this update! I made it extra long, hopefully it makes up for my recent lack of updates ;)

SOFIAS POV

Niall held onto my hand tightly as he pulled me into the tour bus. Right now it was just us two inside, as the other boys were still meeting fans in the barricade outside the bus.

Because of the bus's narrow hallway, Niall's body was very close to mine as he spoke to me.

"Tat was really close," he breathed. His bright eyes glistened in the small amount of moonlight shining through the windows of the bus.

I tried to catch my breath, but my heart was pumping so hard that I couldn't collect myself. Reflexively, I placed my hand over my heart at the sensation. Breathing in, I prepared myself to reply to Niall.

"I know, I'm so happy you were able to think so quickly on the spot!" I breathed out, pleased with myself for sounding somewhat normal.

"Are ya okay?" Niall looked at me with concern.

"Yeah, I'm fine," I lied to him. Little did he know, my heart was beating straight out of my chest not only at the very sight of him, but also at the fact that he was one foot from my face. To my relief, he bought into the lie.

"Well, since we have the entire bus t' ourselves, why don't I show ya around some?" Niall suggested, giddy with excitement.

Niall's bubbly personality is so contagious. Following in his footsteps, we made our way to the back of the bus.

"An' here, madame, we have the nothing-less-than-glamorous kitchen!" Niall jokingly acted as if he were a professional tour guide. He swung his arms open to showcase the barely-there kitchen area.

I giggled at his silliness and looked at the "kitchen", if you could even consider this place one. Niall noticed that his sarcasm was a hit, so he continued his playful act as he resumed the tour. We walked a couple of steps forward into another room, and Niall continued.

"Now this here is the ultra modern sleeping area. As you can see, we each have our own P-O-D," he spelled out the letters hoping to come up with a funny acronym. He paused for a couple seconds before admitting, "I can't think of anything!" He laughed at himself for a moment and I laughed along with him. He's so incredibly cute without even trying.

I admired how hard he was trying to make me laugh and have a good time. Niall blushed at the sound of me laughing.

Our tour was suddenly cut short by the sound of the other boys walking up the stairs into the bus. Their voices sounded exhausted, except for Liam.

"Guys! I have a really good idea for a new song! Let's sit down and brainstorm," Liam enthusiastically spoke a little too loudly.

"Would you please shut up Liam!" Louis groaned, obviously tired.

"Well then, Louis. Nice to know you appreciate my effort to compose the new album..." Liam pretended to be offended.

"Liam. Just try to be a bit quieter, would you?! I am EXHAUSTED!" Louis dramatically exclaimed.

"Maybe you should get some beauty sleep, then." Harry chimed, Louis noting his intended sarcasm.

"Keep it up Styles, and see where it gets ya!" Louis jokingly threatened.
