Jack was in the middle of pouring himself a bow of cereal when his phone made a light noise signaling he had gotten a notification from instagram. He opened the app and saw that cassidy had posted a photo.

Jack didn't like her or anything like that, he didn't even know her, but he did think she was incredibly gorgeous.

Jack liked her picture, feeling tempted to comment
something cheesy like, "You look so beautiful"
but decided against it. He didn't even know her, commenting something like that would be so weird.

He turned off his phone and took a seat on the table. As he was about to eat a spoonful of cereal, his phone made another noise. He sighed and turned his phone on once again. Daniel had mentioned him in a comment. Daniel doesn't usually mention him in posts, so it caught Jack by surprise.

He opened the Instagram app once again and saw that Daniel mentioned him on one of Cassidy's posts.

@seaveydaniel mentioned you in a comment.
"@jackaverymusic HAHAH look, ur crush posted ;)"

jack's cheeks turned an intense shade of red as he replied back to daniel, feeling embarrassed, "@seaveydaniel bro, shut up!"

leaving his bowl of cereal unfinished, he ran up the stairs to give daniel a piece of his mind. he ran into the room in which daniel was in and tackled him.
he pinned daniel and grabbed both of his arms before saying, "WHY. DID. YOU. TELL. HER. SHE. WAS. MY. CRUSH."

"well you weren't gonna do it."
daniel laughed before
speaking once again,
"and plus, she dmed me saying that you should just text her
and start talking or something."
a smirk growing on the blue
eyed boy's face.

jack climbed off daniel and said, "really? she said that?"

"yup, so if i were you, i would pull out my phone and TEXT HER."
daniel said, exaggerating the "text her" part cause he knew jack would probably chicken
out before he even
typed in what he was gonna send.

jack nodded his head and took out his phone from his pocket, opening the Instagram app. he went to his dms, and searched up her username, clicking on it
hesitantly.

"what do I send, what do I send?"
jack asked himself.

he decided he should just keep
it suttle, so he just
typed in a simple, "hey(:"
and leaving it at that.

he sent the short message,
waiting for the response of
cassidy.
