Chapter 13

"What if he doesn't recognize me? What if he doesn't like me?" were all the thoughts
going through cassidy's head.

"Cass, you're overreacting, I'm sure he'll recognize you, and I'm sure he likes you"
loren said reassuringly,
"You guys have been literally texting nonstop for like 1 month and he flirts with you a lot."

"Ok you're right"
cassidy spoke, letting out a small breath and leaning her head against the window.

"and maybe he does like me"
she thought. he had posted a picture the day before with the caption,
"Wish you were coming😩"
but then again, that could be about anybody so maybe not.

"Cass, we're here" said Loren,
shaking cassidy out of her thoughts.

cassidy nodded her head and followed loren out the car.
loren and cassidy arrived
so early that nobody else had even got there yet.
they waited outside the door where they were supposed to enter through, and waited for more people to come.
Not too long after, more and more cars started parking,
And soon the line was incredibly long. Good thing they came at the time they did, they both thought.

security opened the door and led loren and cassidy inside.
where another security would take them to where the meet and greet would be held.

"There he is."
she thought to herself,
"gosh. he's so cute"
jack was taking pictures with Jonah, who was on the right side of him.
cassidy suddenly felt her hands get sweaty, and her body began to shake as she felt her heart beat out of her chest.

loren saw how nervous cassidy was getting so she whispered to her, "Everything is gonna be ok, calm down" 
which made her calm down a little more, but the little nerves were still there.
it was now time for the girls to meet the boys.
cassidy approached the 5 boys that were only a couple steps away from her, daniel being the first to lay his eyes on the girl. he gave her a smile before nudging jack on the arm, pointing to cassidy.

jack stopped taking pictures and turned around to face her. they had made full eye contact, and in that moment, it felt like they were the only two people in the world.

"hug her, you idiot."
daniel whispered a little too loudly, hitting jack on the arm.

jack just shook his head,
running over to me and embracing the petite girl in his arms.

he let go of her, grabbing her face and examining it to see if it was really her, only to her
surprise to me engulfed in another hug by the boy.

the hug ended quick though when they heard the sound of cameras flashing, thinking it was some fans but in reality is was just the rest of the why don't we boys.

"seriously?"
jack laughed, throwing
his arm around cassidy's shoulder.

"sorry, but that moment was just so cute."
jonah squealed, along with
daniel, zach, and corbyn.

"you guys are such children"
cassidy laughed, shaking
her head.
the boys just shrugged
and continued squealing over the picture they had taken of
cassidy and jack.

"well, we should probably
go find out seats. i'll see you later, jack."
cassidy told jack.

jack pouted,
"ok, go."
he spoke, being sure to
kiss the girl on the cheek before she left.
her cheeks immediately turned pink, and before jack could see them grow darker, she walked away with lorens arm wrapped around cassidy's.

"i can't believe that just happened."
cassidy said, still
surprised at jacks kiss on
her cheek.

"well believe it, cute it was cute."
she said, squealing
like the rest of the guys.
