Chapter 12

I stared at this and I could feel my body tense. I could feel myself breaking inside but I locked my phone before Matt could notice.

You okay Matt asked me looking at me oddly. Yes I'm good just going to bed I said headed to my room. I sat there for a minute before I opened the message. My heart was racing cause this was scaring me what did he want.

Jimmy- hey how is my second favorite girl

Me- go to hell and lose my number

Jimmy- is that anyway to talk to me you should know better than that

Me- you don't scare me

Jimmy- we both know that's a lie

Me- just leave me alone please

Jimmy- or what maybe I miss you

Me- I don't miss you so go away

Jimmy - I know you've been cutting ever since I dumped you

Me- ???

Jimmy- I know you miss me just as much as I miss you

Me- I don't miss you

Jimmy- you should look out the window of the guest room your sleeping in

Me-.......

Jimmy- just look

I got off the bed and walked over to the window hesitantly. I opened the curtains shaking horribly. He was standing there and I jumped but didn't scream cause  I didn't want to bother anyone.

He looked at me and made a come on out sign with his hands I opened the window and went outside to the balcony. How'd you get up here I asked him.

Don't worry about that he said smiling at me. He hasn't changed much expect for the fact that he shaved his head. He stepped closer to me and I stepped back.

He grabbed my wrist and he grabbed it hard. I flinched and he smirked he always did when he hurt me. We both know you cant fight me off he said smiling.

Please just leave I said, leave me alone. He squeezed my wrist tighter I knew it was gonna bruise. I tried to pull away but he had a good grip on me. You should know better than to pull away from me by now he sajd laughing.

I just wanted to tell you I miss you I'm going to go now he said. I saw the Matt come into the room he saw jimmy and went after him.

Jimmy jumped hopped down fast enough and Matt chased after him. He got ahold of him and started beating the shit out of him. I told you to stay the fuck away from her he yelled.

Don't come near her again he said between blows. Don't ever come near her again I mean it. He grabbed him up and threw him towards his car.

It was a little beat up ok school van. Jimmy got in his car and sped off and Matt started coming back up the yard. He climbed up to the balcony to me.

Did he hurt you Matt asked me I showed him my wrist. He seemed really angry but he carefully looked over my wrist. Let's get you some ice it's a little swollen Matt said.

He went inside and had me follow.  We headed to the kitchen and he grabbed the ice pack. He wrapped it in a dish towel and placed it on my wrist.

I flinched cause it really hurt Matt pulled me into a hug. He texted me before and then he told me to look outside and there he was I said my voice cracking.

You should have come and got me or screamed Matt said. I know I said voice breaking even more I deserved this I sobbed.

You did not deserve anything he did. And now I want you to get a restraining order against him. I shook my head and agreed okay I will I said.  Good we need to go to the ER tonight for them to get pictures of your wrist.

Alright I said he pulled me out of the hug and went and got his shoes on. I put mine on as well , he went in and told Allie he'd be back and explained what happen.

She was super worried about me and told us to keep her posted. We left and went out to Matts truck.  He had a gmc 2015 this thing was bad ass.

He helped me into the truck since my wrist was killing me. I was worried about that the cops would say I kept thinking the whole time.

We're here Matt said as we pulled in. I didn't even notice how short the ride felt. I got out of the truck not easily though. You should have waited for me Matt said catching me before I hit the ground.

Thanks I said smiling at him he closed my door and locked up the truck. Once we were inside the hospital smell hit me.

Smells like floor cleaner and bleach along with a touch of old people. He gave the registration nurse my name and birth date. And they called the cops after he told them what happen.

Cops will be here soon they said putting me in a room. The walls were all white and the room smelled like disinfectant. I hate hospitals I thought but he needs to go to jail for what he did I thought.

Well the cops will be here soon but in the mean time Matt said tell me what happen. He texted me telling me he missed me and stuff told him to leave me alone. Then he said look outside and I did and there he was.

Matt looked pissed I warned him he said under his breath. The curtain to my room was pulled back and there a sleepy Jordan was. You called him I said to Matt not very happy.

Technically I messaged him Matt said with a smile. I'm glad he messaged me are you okay baby girl he said. I'm alright I said just my wrist is hurting a lot.

Let me see it he said moving the ice off it. I flinched cause it hurt then noticed the swelling hadn't gone down. And now my wrist was turning black and blue.

He cringed when he saw my wrist and I could tell he was pissed. Matt was more pissed now that he seen it was getting worse as well. I need some fresh air Matt said walking out of my room.

He walked out fast I could see him reaching into his pocket for his cigarettes. I took a deep sigh I wish he wasn't so pissed this is all my fault I said.

This is not your fault Jordan said he hugged me very careful not to bump my wrist. A nurse came into the room the police will be here soon she said.

Thank you I said with a smile she turned and left the room. Now it's time to wait for the cops I said nervously. It will be okay Jordan said lightly squeezing my leg.

Jordan being here actually helping me. Thank you for being here for me I said to him with a smile.
