Christal

They were laughing. Well, she was. She was laughing historically, with her hand touching his shoulder. But Nick was just listening to her and laughed a little, looking almost bored.

Just before i could turn away, his eyes met mine.

It was like just the two of us alone, again.

His eyes softened but then suddenly hardened when he looked at my bandaged wrist.

He rushed towards me and didn't even stop when Jen said "Don't go near her," I really love how protective my bestfriend was.

What surprised me, probably everyone around us, the most was when he cupped my face and looked into my eyes.

My cubby face would probably looked ugly scrunched up.

He asked me, "Are you okay?" but his eyes were shifting from my eyes to my wrists worriedly. My wrist wasn't that badly hurt, but now it was bandaged it looked like it was bad.

"I..I-I'm fine," I stuttered.

You know when you wanted to cry but you stayed strong and then someone asked you with their soft voice (moms especially) questioning if you were okay you started to really cry.

Girls are so sensitive, guys. Take note.

Like now, I was going to cry again. I couldn't let that happen, so I moved my face away from his grasp and walked away with my head bowed down. I slightly looked back at Nick. He looked hurt.

And worried.

I was about to go to him, when i met with the evil's eyes. She was glaring at me, as if she could read my mind of what i was going to do.

So i continued walking away.
