"Eye contact is way more intimate than words will ever be"

"Can i have three of the Kinder Buenos and 2 packets of Kit Kats. That would be all thank you," I said happily.

"Sure thing honey. Here ya' go. Aww so chubby so cuteee," She started to pinch my cheeks.

I smiled happily, with my teeth covered with the chocolate i was eating.

"Ehemm," A voice behind me.

Oh oh.. Busted.

"Hi Mummy! I thought you were busy with-"

"What did i tell you about eating too much sugary food?" she cut me off.

"Uh.." I looked down, but still eating the chocolates.

"Oh, let her be honey. She can eat whatever she wants! Right, cupcake?" My dad said and winked at me.

My dad's a hero!

I grinned.

"Ready for school?" He asked.

"Yeapp. But wait i just finished 2 of my Kinder Buenos. Can i grab-"

"Nu-uh. No more. You're late for school. Now go," mum kissed my forehead.

I felt sad all over again.

"I'll buy you one on our way to school," my dad whispered.

I grinned happily.

"Don't even think about it, Richard," my mum warned. Oh she knew us well.

*In school*

"Oh look its Christie Fat"

"Oh my god i hope i'm not as fat as her, am i?"

"Ugh watch where you're going you fat bit*h"

"Ugh look at those fat thighs"

Although i felt like i wanted to cry, I stayed strong. With all the hurtful words, I just looked down. Most people here would think I was weak. But maybe i was?

I walked to my lockers, happy that I arrived safely. Other times, someone would knock me down on purpose. I was always ready for that.

I opened my locker, and arranged my things.

"Hi Chrissy," someone hugged me from behind.

"Hi Jenny," i said.

Jenny was my bestie. She was so beautiful with her long blonde hair and body-to-die-for. I didn't know why we were friends, first of all.

We were a total opposites.

Sometimes i felt like sticking my fingers in my mouth and throw up everytime she was beside me. That was how much insecure i was.

"Why are we friends again?" I asked jokingly.

"Because we're sisters from another mother," she and I said at the same time.
