Four's POV
I have the girl knocked out within 5 minutes. I can tell that she didn't put up much of a fight. Now I'm walking back to Zeke and Uriah while the other girl carries the one I knocked out back to their side. I turn to the hawk and see him stroking Six's hair while she leans as far away from him as possible. I feel my stomach turn on repulsion. Sighing he releases Six and she hastily scrambles back to her friends.

I watch in sorrow as she strokes the cheek of the girl I just injured. Then I see her visibly shiver as the hawk walks over to her. I can't help but take a step forward, until Zeke puts a hand on my shoulder, holding me back. So I watch in anger as he forcefully yanks her hair back so that she is looking him in the eye.

"No more funny business, K?" He says, putting on a girly voice at the end. She nods gritting her teeth and he releases her hair, her head jerking back. She winces before looking me in the eye. By the look on her face we both have an understanding of the same sense of fear and worry and that's all I need to continue playing the game.

"Now," hawk starts," the next battle is between you and Six" he says pointing at Zeke and Six.

I see Six reluctantly stand and walk to the centre.

Hawk grins, "come on dude! Time to put her on her ass" he says to Zeke.

Zeke scowls in response before looking back to Six and suddenly his express changes from anger to fear. When I look at Six I realise why. All I see on her face is pure loathing.

In this moment I realise...

Zeke doesn't stand a chance.

But before I can shout a warning to him, Six has run straight at him, knocking him to the ground. He quickly recovers, standing up. But Six is quicker.

She spins throws a right hook towards his nose.

He dodges.

She throws another punch at his nose.

He dodges again.

She spins to throw a knife but half way through the spin, Zeke catches her and hooks his elbow around her neck. She grunts something unintelligible before doing the most outstanding thing I've ever seen.

She hauls Zeke all the way over her shoulder by simply bending over. That being that, hawk draws the fight to a close as Zeke struggles to get up, grunting and wincing while Uriah and I carry him back to our side of the course.

"Damn man" Uriah says.

We silently wait for the hawk's verdict.

"The final round will now begin! Girls? Choose the representatives from each team." He says.

So we wait in silence for several moments until finally Six steps forward,"we have chosen the final battle to be between.... Four and I", she says, looking straight at me.

I gulp.

Why?

Why me?

Why not Uriah or Zeke?

But then it hits me. She wants to kill me. She thinks that instead of going to the trouble of taking down my empire, she can just take me down and the rest will fall with me.

Well she couldn't be anymore wrong.

Six's POV
I can feel my heart pounding as I look straight into his eyes. But any pity I may have felt is relinquished by the reminder that his power has brought such chaos. I gulp then continue my walk to the centre and stop when I am a few feet away from him. We stare deep into each other's eyes.

"I'm sorry" he whispers, like he is almost 100% positive of his victory. I scowl back at him.

"I'm not" I hiss before lunging.

Four quickly sidesteps me and I fall to the ground. He then hurls his fist towards me but I swiftly roll out of the way. His fist makes a sizeable dent in the ground and for a moment we both stare from the dent into each other's eyes. But I quickly stand, not wanting to be in that vulnerable position anymore.

This time he makes the first move, swiping his leg across the ground trying to knock my feet out from under me. I jump just in time to avoid the blow and quickly throw a left hook. However, he catches my fist easily twisting me around so that my back is to his chest, his elbow hooked around my neck.

"You remember this?" He says, his free hand trailing down my hip.

"Yeah. You remember this?" I hiss, kicking him in the groin.

I quickly escape his grip and watch as he falls to his knees in a fit of swearing.

"I certainly do." I say, laughing.

However, he quickly recovers and stands. We stare at each for what seems like hours until a whirring noise sounds above and all eyes are on the sky as a helicopter comes into view. A ladder drops to the ground and the hawk starts to run over to us, but me and Four share a look before shouting to both our teams.

"Go!", and they quickly make their way to the ladder in the centre. Four and I glance at each other again before running to face the hawk. He swung at me then Four then Four again and then me. Each time we dodged his punches. Until Four finally knocked him down.

Then I hear a shout from behind us and see that the girls had just finished helping Christina up the ladder and everyone was safe. Four had begun climbing the ladder so I followed him. He had just reached half way, and I was 4-5 rungs up when I felt someone yank on my foot causing me to fall to the ground with a heavy thud. Four had just reached the top and was now staring down at me with fear in his eyes. A tear crept down my cheek.

"Go" I mouthed to him. He shook his head forcefully, until I heard a beep from inside the helicopter and I knew that the gas would run out if they stayed any longer. He seemed to realise too. He looked at me one last time with a desperate, pleading look, before I nodded at him and the helicopter began to float away. The last glimpse I had of his face was as the hawk hooked his elbow around my neck and he choked me until I couldn't take it. My brain gave out on me and the darkness took me into its cold, lifeless arms.

Sorry bout all the cliffhangers, I can't help myself 😋
