Bella's POV

Today was my first day at my new school. Liberty high! Im not excited at all, I mean who the fuck is excited to go to school? Let alone a new school, in the middle of the school year. Once again, I'm the new kid. I have to remake friends, and start fitting again. You know you succeeded when you aren't known as the "new kid" anymore. That takes a couple months... annoyingly.

I walk into the school, and already I feel the presents of eyes staring at me, laughing at me. I've done this so much times, I just walk and ignore them all. At the corner of my eye I see a handsome boy, he's the only one not staring, and is just sitting down on the floor - reading. He looks so peaceful.

I decided if I were going to make friends, it would be with him. I walk over and he doesn't even notice me

"Yo" I say and he looks up

"Um hi, can I help you?" He asks me

I sit down next to him

"No. I'm Bella, the new girl. You were the only one not giving me that "new kid" look so I decided to say hi" I explain

"Ohh, well welcome to
Liberty high. Probably wasn't the best school to go to, but whatever. I'm clay" he says

"That's an interesting name, first time I ever heard that" I smile

"Yeah well I have no idea where my parents got it from. I heard all of the jokes, especially in art class - when we physically had to use clay" he laughs

He's pretty cute

I laugh with him. "So, anything I need to stay away from" I ask

He sighs "stay away from the douchebags aka the basketball plays or whoever is wearing a jersey, except Zack - he's chill" he says

"Um some of the cheerleaders are really nice actually, you might like them. Some are a little snobby - not gonna lie" he says

"And if you ever need advice or help, just a friend or go to a therapist. Our councilor ain't very good" he says

"And that's it" he adds

"Basically don't trust anyone that new kids are supposed to hang out with, the popular gang" I laugh

"I guess, but if you wanna continue with that basic teen movie shit - there is actually stereotypical gangs here. The populars, - handsome jocks, mean girls. The nerds, like the chess club or some shit" he's says

"I wish I'd pick a school that was so weird, no one could ever call it basic" I say

"Not possible. All schools pretty much suck" he says

"What group are you in?" I ask

"I'm in the slightly geek group, but at the same time I'm just average" he simply says

I was gonna say something, but he got up

Bella's POV

Clay gets up and wraps his arms around a girl. A girl with long brown curly hair, blue eyes, and a smile that could bright up a room. She was truly beautiful, and felt the need to tell her to back off. I just met clay, but I already knew he was special and not like most douche bag guys. If I would have known he was taken, I wouldn't have even said hello to him.

I get the nerve to walk up to them

"Um hi" I say

Hannah's POV

"Um hi" someone says. A girl. With long straight ginger hair, and hazel green eyes. I didn't know who she was, she must be new.

"Hi" I say looking between her and clay
