Dan and Phil woke at 7:00 on Monday, 17th of December and got ready for today. They were both so scared, but they had to be brave. Phil was so hungry, but he didn't know if he was allowed to have food, because of his treatment, so he thought it was best to not have anything. Dan didn't have anything either, he was too worried.
They got dressed into their normal clothes - black jeans. They sat on the couch, but they didn't do anything. They didn't watch anime. They didn't do anything. They couldn't. They couldn't think d anything to do. They just cuddled.
It got to 12:30 and Dan rung a taxi to take him and Phil to the hospital, as they didn't have a car, and going by bus would take too long.
"Dan?"
"Phil?"
"I'm scared." Upon saying this sentence, Phil broke into tears and nuzzled his face into his boyfriends chest. Dan heard his muffled cries and wrapped his arms around him.
"It's going to be okay"
"Do you promise?"
"I promise"
The taxi arrived then, so Phil wiped up his tears and got into the taxi. Dan followed him and asked the driver to take them to the hospital.
**TIME SKIP**
They arrived at the hospital at 1:20. Dan thanked and paid the driver and they went inside to sign in. A porter showed them the way to the chemotherapy part of the hospital and a nurse immediately called them into a room. Phil was asked to remove his shirt and lie on a bed where the chemo would take place.
** TIME SKIP **
It was after the chemo now, Dan and Phil were back at home.
"How was it?" Dan asked, quietly, softly.
"It wasn't that bad really. They put me to sleep so I didn't feel anything." Phil replied. He was very tired.
"You look tired baby"
"I am"
"Do you want to go to sleep and I will wake you up when dinner is ready?"
"Do you mind?" Phil asked, feeling kind of guilty that Dan had to do the work.
"Not at all, you need to rest. Go on, I'll wake you up later."
With that, Phil hugged Dan and went off to the bedroom. He didn't even bother to take his clothes off, he just collapsed in the bed and and instantly went to sleep.
