Tyler's pov:
The following morning I surprisingly wake up in a better mood. Better than usual actually. I decide to lose the shades, leaving them on my drawers. I skip into the bathroom with my phone in hand ready to take a shower. Just as I strip from my boxers and turn on the shower, I hear a loud ping. I look over my shoulder to my phone lit up with a notification:
Josh: Good morning :) want picking up?

My stomach flips and I find myself smiling brightly. I remember this feeling.

Me: morning. that would be lovely, coffee on me?

I reply after gleaming at his message for a strong 7 minutes, then I finally drag myself into the shower with music playing in the back ground.

After quickly washing the soap suds down the drain, I rush into my bedroom to change, pushing past my sister who had been waiting for me to get out the shower for ages. I slam my door shut and I rip four different outfits from my drawers and wardrobe, what will look best? Edgy or casual? Edgy.

After eyeing myself up in the mirror I hear my phone ping, again:

Josh: Outside :p

Shoot. I spray on lots of after shave, the one Josh brought me ages ago actually. I grab my bag and I skip down stairs. My dad and brother stare at me and exchange shocked looks, I grin at them and turn to mom instead. "Bye, I'll be home late" I peck her on the cheek but before she can say anything I'm out the door.

Josh's pov:
I try my best to act casual; I rest my arm on the window with my fingers twisted amongst my hair. I rest my other hand upon my leg whilst watching him get in my car. "Hey!" He smiles and his dimples form. My heart warms up. "No glasses today?" I ask as I begin to drive. He drops his bag in the back and turns to me, "Nah" I can almost hear the cheery undertone in his giggle.

"No, Ty, I can pay for myself!", "Shut up and let me pay for you, doofus" Tyler scolds me. I roll my eyes and finally allow him to pay. I tell him I'll be in the car waiting for him. 10 minutes later he comes with two drinks and some doughnuts from the Krispy Kreme section at the back. We sit in the car park sipping and munching with the radio faintly playing in the back ground making small talk between sips of the coffee. "Can't best a good old Krispy doughnut" Tyler mutters, "I concur". Tyler looks out the corner of his eye, "since when did you use big words?" We both chuckle as people stare at us stupidly.

Once we finish our stuff we head to school. Just as we get to the school Tyler pipes up. "Josh, I think you should drop me off here". "Huh? Why? I can drop you off in school" He turns to the back and grabs his bag, "But what if Dallon sees you with me?" I slow down and I turn to Tyler. "And? What if he sees you and me?" He scoffs and stops his bag between his legs "I don't fancy a broken nose this time, thanks" his sarcasm his heightening. "Fine. But let me drop you of in school at the bus stop. Then I'll go to the car park". He is silenced for a minute whilst glaring at me, "Deal".
