Josh's pov:

I'm confused from the coma.
I'm always having headaches.
I'm drowsy from the morphine.
I'm sick of the hospital.

I've been completely removed from all machines. The only thing that is left in me is a thick needle attached to a drip.

"After noon, Joshua" my nurse slowly enters my room. I give her a sleepy smile.

Painfully, she slowly lifts the corner of my bandage off my head. I wince, gritting my teeth. "We're going to take this off and give you stitches" I agree with her, not like I have a say in it anyways.

30 minutes later, she's threaded stitches into my head. She tells me how I will be stuck with a deep scar from my forehead that ends in my eyebrow. How attractive.

I hear a light knocking at the door, my room is never empty. It's like a service station. "Come in" I groan. I just want to be left alone. The door opens slowly and I see a head peer round. It's Mom. I use my hands to sit up.

"We brought you cookies, I made them" my youngest sister gleams. "I'm good, thanks" I mumble. "Please, just try some!" "I can't stomach any food" I apologetically smile at her.

They all attempt to make a lasting conversation with me but I'm not in the mood to talk. I feel like I could sleep for days- well, technically I have.

"Whose Tyler?" abruptly, I ask.

"What'd you mean who is he?" she laughs.

"I mean, who is he".

My sister exchanges an wide eye look to my parents who look at one another with a worried expression.

"Tyler is your boyfriend" Abi states, sourly.

"I don't know anything about him" my voice breaks mid sentence. "He said we used to go out but I-I just don't remember".

"Does Tyler know this?" dad questions. I nod.

"He showed me pictures of 'us', I feel like I've never met him".

My eyes glance around the room briefly. Abi is biting her nails. Dad has his head in his hands. Mom says nothing.

"Could you tell me about me and Tyler?" quietly and shyly, I ask.

Abi looks up instantly, and smiles. "You and him love Taco Bell" she grins. "We was there once, and Tyler had to pretend to be my boyfriend, cause' my ex was there, too" she chuckles.

"You two helped Jordan fix his bike" Dad adds.

"He would force you to study" mom looks over with a grin as well. "You two were inseparable".

Inseparable.

They carry on to tell me even more fond memories of us. Tyler sounds really funny and amiable.
