I yawned, resting my head on Shawn's shoulder. The stench of weed was giving me a headache, and the music was so loud that I could barely hear myself think. I observed my surroundings, watching as drunk teenagers stumbled all over the place. This was honestly the last place I wanted to be.I tugged on shawn's arm. He looked down at me, raising his eyebrows in concern when he noticed my frown.
"What's wrong, honey?" He shouted in my ear so I could hear him.
"I don't feel good. Can we go home?"I yelled back. He nodded.
"Sure, baby. Just go get your jacket and we can leave."
I stood up, heading towards the kitchen to grab my jacket off the coat rack. Several people bumped into me, drunk out of their minds. I just rolled my eyes. I wasn't in the mood to put up with anyone's shit.
I finally reached the kitchen, grabbing my jacket and holding it securely in my arms. As I was making my way back to Shawn someone bumped into me. I recognized the guy, he was one of Shawn's friends. Matt Espinosa.
"My ba- yoooo, Y/n!" He yelled in my face. His breath reeked of liquor, and he was clearly drunk, based on his demeanor.
"Hi, Matt. I was just leaving."
"Oh, you're mad at Shawn."
I furrowed my eyebrows. "Why would I be mad at Shawn?" I asked the blonde boy as he began to sway from side to side. I grabbed him by his shoulders, steadying him.
"Woah," He put his hand on his forehead. "The room is spinning or something. That's so lit."
I rolled my eyes. "Matt, you didn't answer my question."
He looked at me blankly. "Wha- oh yeah! There's some girl all over him, so I figured that you got mad at him and wanted to leave. I mean, I wouldn't blame you. She's hot."
I tuned him out after the first sentence. I could literally feel my body heat up with anger. "Bye, Matt." I walked away, pushing through the crowd as quickly as I could.
He was right. when I got back there was some brunette sitting on Shawn's lap. He stared at her uncomfortably, trying to push her off. She wouldn't budge.
"We should go upstairs." She slurred, kissing on his neck. He moved his head.
"I already told you. I have a girlfriend."
The girl only laughed. "Well, I don't see her."
"Turn around." I said. She whipped her head around quickly. "Now you see her."
The girl scowled at me, eventually chuckling sardonically. "I don't see much."
I clenched my fist. Shawn shot me a worried look, already knowing what was going to happen next. "Y/n, calm down."
I ignored him, seething at the girl. "You have five seconds to get off of my boyfriend." I began counting.
"Five..."
She laughed, "Ooh, am I supposed to be scared."
"Four..."
"What are you gonna do?"
"Three, two."
"I'm not going anywh-"
"One." I grabbed a fistful of her cheap hair extensions, dragging her off of Shawn and onto the floor.
"You bitch." She gasped as she stared at me in shock.
"I warned you." I grabbed Shawn's hand as he stood up. "Don't fuck with what's mine."
She walked away. Shawn let out a laugh that he was holding in. "Damn, Y/n." He bit his lip, eyeing me up and down. "Come here." He pulled me into his arms and began to trail kisses down my neck.
"You're hot when you're jealous." He whispered in my ear, biting my earlobe afterwards.
"Can we go home now?" I asked. "I'm really tired."
"Yeah we can go home, but you won't be getting any sleep."
