(Seth's POV)
I sit on my bed, recalling what had happened in school. Thinking about what happened to Ava and how those boys laughed at me when they use to be afraid of me angered me. I was mainly angry because I felt helpless that I wasn't able to help Ava properly. I look down at my legs and they disgusted me. My useless legs stopped me from helping Ava and from taking part in any sort of activity.I recall the coach speaking to me when I came back to school. His words replay in my head "it's a shame that your unable to play especially when your the star of the team and the only player that was offered a scholarship such a shame" I grit my teeth, clench my jaw and breathe heavily in anger.
I scream at myself "WHY DO YOU HAVE TO BE SO USELESS?" I grab my bat from the side of my bed and I hit both my legs with it to torture myself for being in such a helpless position.
Ava rushes in "Seth what are you doing stop it" she screams and grabs onto the bat.
"No just leave me alone Ava alright I can't do anything...I'm useless I can't play sports, I can't go anywhere without receiving support, I can't bathe myself or cook for myself I'm never going to recover" I think negatively and I press onto the bridge of my nose.
She sits beside me and places her hand onto my back to comfort me "Don't say that..you will recover I promise but you need to stop hurting yourself" she says softly and I look at her innocent face.
"I can't help it when I'm angry I do loads of crazy things" I admit.
"Maybe you should write down all your feelings and thoughts it might help you to calm down" she advices.
"You sound like my therapist now" I smirk slightly.
"I guess that's a good thing I might be able to help you overcome your anger" she smiles.
"Thanks" I smile back.
"It's okay" she gets off my bed and takes a few steps forward but stops suddenly.
She turns to face me "Also your not useless you saved me today so thank you and I'm sorry I didn't believe you my anger took over me and I shouldn't have let that happened" she says and I smile widely at her.
"I guess we both have something in common" I cross my arms over.
"Maybe we do" she shrugs her shoulders.
"So does this mean I'm forgiven for yesterday?" I ask and she rolls her eyes playfully.
"Yes you are" she says and I chuckle. Our moment gets interrupted by a phone call.
"Hang on a second" she says as she looks at her phones caller id and leaves my room.
(Ava's POV)
"Hello" I greet."Hey Ava wanted to know what time you were coming over?" Miles says and I forgot that I called him yesterday as well to invite him over.
I press onto my temple "Oh right I forgot about that look can we reschedule I can't come today I need to take care of a friend" I look slightly into Seth's room to see him writing in his diary.
"It's okay I understand just let me know when you can come over" he says considerately.
"Thank you for understanding I'll see you soon" I smile happily.
"Alright bye then" I hang up and walk back into Seth's room.
"Do you want me to do anything for you?" I ask and he continues writing.
"No I'm okay" he says without making any sort of eye contact with me.
"You seem very focused there" I chuckle.
