I run around the house looking for a good place to hide while mom counts to ten with her hands placed over her face. I hide under the table and I cover my mouth to hold my laugh in.

"Ready or not here I come" mom says and she begins searching for me and dad.

She comes near the table and looks in different directions for me.

"I wonder where Ava could be...she's not behind the curtains or behind the plant where could she be" she says as she scratches her head in confusion. I can't believe she didn't see me especially when her eyes were looking towards me.

I begin to giggle as I couldn't help myself and she turns to me quickly.

"I hear a giggle and it's coming from under the table....there you are" she says as she finds me and we both laugh out loud as she lifts me up and tickles me.

"Now we need to find daddy shhhh" she says as she places her finger on her lip and I copy her.

We tiptoe out of the dinning room and search the living room we look all over the room and search the entire house but he was nowhere to be seen.

"Where's daddy?" I ask mom and she shrugs her shoulders.

Suddenly I feel a pair of arms grab me from the back and lift me high up in the air. I turn around to see it was dad. We all laugh and I scream.

"I found daddy I found daddy mommy" I say happily.

"Yes you did well done sweetie" mom says as she kisses me on my cheek.

"I hid well didn't I Ava" dad asked and I nod my head.

"Yes daddy you did" I giggle.

I loved my parents very much and they loved each other too. When they would get into bed together I would jump in their bed and squeeze in between them and we would sleep together.

We would always go out and do fun things together like a nice and happy family. That was until my parents had to start working when I was in school and I had to stay with a babysitter quite often so I hardly spent time
with them until the holidays came.

We were getting ready to go to Uncle Chucks house and I was strapped into my car seat while mom and dad sat at the front starting the car up. I kick my feet in excitement when I realise that I left my favourite doll inside the house.

"I left polly inside the house..I need to get her" I say as I take off my seatbelt and jump out of my car seat and out of the car. I run through the thick snow to go into the house.

"AVA..AVA WAIT" dad calls out but I didn't listen and all I could here was tires spinning and the sound of two objects smash into each other.

I turn around to see that a car collided with my parents car and not just the car but dad got hit too. The cars horn sounded as moms head hit the steering wheel and the whole neighbourhood came out of their house to see what was going on.
